Congrats! I had a True Blue Lightning some years ago, so though not my favorite over AG, I do like the color!
Also, it may just be the angle or my point of view but your splitter looks to be not fully seated (Photo #2). I'd check that out. There are many issues of improper installation.
Explain it to me like I were a third grader!
Maybe someone could explain this to me please. My last Ford before this GT350 was a 2002 Lightning which I bought brand new. It too had a well known issue of blowing spark plugs. Sure enough while stationed in Italy, mine spit one. Before this...
I have the Blackvue front and rear. I bought it because a lot of the Audi guys when I had one highly recommended it. It works very well and has some useful features like the Cloud App and Live View. I find the Cloud App to work fine to view your clips, but booting them up and downloading them...
I've seen varied price ranges for the CF wheels on the R. At MSRP, the R is the way better bargain in my opinion. If those wheels were an option, I would have very seriously considered them.
The point was, if they had added lighter wheels, and those lighter wheels added to the original cost, I don't think it would have mattered much to those who have bought these cars.
I will say though, wheels didn't factor into my buying.
Dealers have been squeezing more than that out of them. So, clearly the market has dictated what "we" would pay. I would have ponied a bit more if it were the price of lighter wheels.
I lucked out never having to wear it. I was on the trail when the policy changed, then was in "special" units where I wore civilian clothes until I retired. Even out-processed in a suit :headbang:
In some respects it's the principle too. I was in the Army during the time they adopted black berets for all troops. They had traditionally been reserved for Rangers whom I have the greatest respect for. I thought it suck to give everyone the beret after all the Rangers did to earn it. The...
I actually thought of going with the R badges, only for the aesthetics of matching the overall scheme of my car...hints of red here and there, and not to play it off as an R. In the end, I didn't want to offend others or myself. I think it should be unique to the R, though I don't mind if...
See? I do have a GT350 and couldn't tell you what an R looks like. I thought it did have more CF as part of its weight reduction. :frusty:I guess then, in regards to the poll, I really don't care! By the way, how do you like my stripes and calipers? Too close?:headbonk:
That car sure has a lot of the R's CF pieces for it not to be one...seats notwithstanding. I can't tell what wheels it has but, $65k might not be that bad a deal if it's not an R.
The only thing I needed as proof was my VIN when I signed up. Just call, give the VIN and go from there. If the previous owner didn't go, you should be good to hook!
Two things. First, congratulations, that really sounds awesome! I might have considered that right up to the point you said you had to get rid of the active exhaust. I sort of like the schtick of it! Secondly, how do you have your camera mounted inside over your left shoulder?
