I have the street spec. Sigh.
Its the most beautiful red anodizing, which is why I went street iirc.
Im not sure, something like 20k.
Probably making it a "race spec" myself.
Broke 40k miles. Switched up my oil change due to availability of oil.
New air filter.
Everything is going good.
Splitter rubs on my race ramps, wtf.
Harassed @pilotgore via text since I was fondling his funnel. Good stuff, lmao
I reached out to Boomba, they are always great people btw, and they without hesitation said they'd refurb my mount.
Im a savage, and have a history of fuxing up historically proven mounts. Boomba has always been great people with hearty products. I have been interacting with them for about 12...
So I've absolutely smoked O2 sensors by running defoulers and having them angled wrong. Allowing condensation to enter the sensor and short it out. Quite a few. On 93 oct.
On E30 and E85 on various vehicles, never had a failure with a properly angled O2 sensor.
I don't believe an E85 thing...
I'm glad you got the results you needed, for your sanity's sake, lol
I romped on it some, may have had one weird event, but overall everything feels good. I'm fine with this. There's bigger fish to fry!
I was thinking two 1/8" holes if I was going to drill.
Mill? I was probably going to pad it, then feed it into a Rotosplit, 5 min job. ;) lol
Or go straight chaotic and bandsaw a line through all of the male end. Pure savagery.
Instead, just trusting the delrin doesnt bind and that Steeda...
I even thought about putting a groove in the shaft, lmfao
Gotta say, it feels better greaseless. I'll beat on it on the way home from work and really try to recreate what I perceived.
Or it's just insanity. Lmao
That thought had crossed my mind, but its a self lubricating plastic, so there's no need for grease. The parts seem to have enough tolerance to prevent any sealing/vacuum/pressure action, lol
Just going to be mindful of it and adjust as necessary. Still not sure if it was even an issue, just...
On hard/fast driving I get either a slow clutch release at the very end of travel, or some pedal bounce. Not sure, but I notice it under certain circumstances.
I popped the steeda clutch spring perch assembly out. Its delrin, idk why I greased it. I may have made it a piston, and on fast action...
Please dont destroy the rare Bullitt Recaros. Just get regular recaros out of any S550 or GT350, and you may want to buy in your cars date range for better compatability.
Well, pedal felt weird a week ago in the morning on a cold start. It was weak and wouldnt full return. I took her for a spin and geez the rub/let out was at the floor.
So I snagged another OEM from Lakeland Fords Ebay account, so I didnt deal with backordered BS.
Took about an hour to swap...
I thought you popped the airbox and your K&N got replaced by an OEM, lmfao
I was like "these dumb f'n mechanics throwing away this person's reusable air filter!"
It happens more often than it should, good to hear you are all good! Lol
