Car seems to be running quite well. Logs havnt been super clean, but it'll pull some timing on a few different cylinders(just one in a pull but not the same cyl each pull)
I'll continue to monitor.
Buddy is getting a bunch of body parts painted, so he graciously offered to get my roush spoiler...
Took her out for a fresh tank of E85, and took a bunch of mediocre logs, lmao.
Car ran noticeably well, had her a wee bit sideways a few times. Overall power delivery felt stronger. Really was shocked.
No #4 misfire incidents. Logs looked pretty good. Most lbs/min I pulled was only 53 and...
I borescoped cyl 4 just to see if there was any damage from my misfire incident. Everything appears to be great. No concern of mine, just some carbon on the piston top, but mostly clean.
Well my 2019 engine built in June of 2019 has heat range 7 plugs.
I just slapped heat range 6 Rutheniums in her gapped at .044".
Additionally I moved cyl 4 coilpack to cyl 1 just to aid in trouble shooting.
So, the new plugs are here. Did quite a dive on what plug gap I should be running.
Since im a hybrid of GT350 parts, on E85, and have an 8k redline, I'm going to split between the Gt350 gaps and G3 Yote gaps.
Which happens to be what these plugs come gapped by NGK at .044". I will measure all...
Had a little incident on the way home today. Legit cyl 4 misfires for about 5 sec or less. It cleared itself up. Its about 2/3rds through a tank of E85. 41k miles.
It was fine the other 25 miles of the drive.
So I bought some NGK Rutheniums to swap plugs. Hopefully plug 4 isnt wet or wrecked...
But then I'm daily driving with a 4pt like a douche canoe, lol
I can't be that guy, I get enough questions when I start talking about mods. "What tracks do you run?" "Whats your best 1/4 mile?" Then they look at me weird when I tell them I just commute with it, lol. My commute is extremely...
They look very good.
3500 and iowa though. Just want the fronts, lmao
I need to look at different recaros, I'll just slide around in these. The GT350 has the suede inserts that should offer some more grip.
So after talking with Damond Motorsports for their opinion on mount Durometer ratings, I have a path of action.
Going with 80a, going to pur it myself after cleaning out the old 60a. Probably use the oem mount as a jig to keep the centers centered, lol
Trying to figure out what brand/product...
I read the title, and had two thoughts.
1. Oh it's probably a typo, they want a tuner
2. Or it's Aussie slang for a steering wheel and this is going to be a real fun read!!!
Alas, it's just number one. Sigh...
I have zero nvh concerns. Im on stiff motor mounts, stiffer suspension, all the bracing, and its not half as bad as some of my previous modded cars, lmfao!!@@
Regarding the part, Its still functioning, just probably not as well. I probably would have never noticed if I didnt specifically look...
