Yup, stock shifter is crap. I have a 2020 Bullitt I got about a month ago and last week I swapped in a MGW X Spec shifter and the 35lbs clutch pedal spring and it transforms the way the car shifts/feels.

If you haven't done it yet, change the pedal spring out to the 35lbs one. Makes it so much nicer and the engagement point is more consistent feeling. That with the MGW has made mine much more fun to drive, even in bumper to bumper BS.

Did a couple small projects. Replaced the clutch pedal spring with the 35lbs one, much nicer. Installed my new tags and front offset tag mount so there are no holes drilled in my bumper. Washed the car and detailed the inside. It was a nice 57 degrees so just getting out and messing with the car...

I have the MGW X-short throw. It is a little stiff, but thats part of the game to have the spring tension to aide in quick, short shifts. A little bit taller helps a lot and I don't like the ball style knob.. I found (for me), going to a pistol grip is perfect and gives me more lateral leverage...

They should have been standard on ALL 5.0 powered Mustangs in my opinion. It is pretty easy to get a 5.0 NA Coyote up to 550hp and if you go to the drag strip, you can easily over power stock axles if you don't know how to launch correctly. Easy swap too-

My 2020 Bullitt would spank my 03 Cobra stock versus stock. The only thing I like better would be the trans in the 03.

The only real don't is don't leave E85 in system for prolonged periods of time, like over the winter for 3-4 months etc. It is not as friendly on lines and seals and stuff as pump gas is.

I just got my car last Saturday from a dealer in eastern MD, a 2020 Bullitt with 25K miles. When I ran the VIN at the NTSB website, and saw the open recall not performed, I mentioned it to the sales dude and they ran the car through the test/process yesterday. They did not replace any hardware...

I would also verify the injectors. If it is a constant at 2K and the other parts of the fueling system are commanding properly and responding properly, the injectors "could" be an issue possibly.
