Timely topic Deano! Gave my mustang its first wash this afternoon. Hopefully the weather remains good tomorrow so I can go out and take some decent pictures of it while its looking clean! Have spent far to much time while I was waiting for this car watching car washing and detailing videos...

Hey Big_G - Just tested the folding mirrors on my car. The passenger side definitely folds in more than the drivers side. Looks like it must be a design 'feature'.

Took delivery of mine late this afternoon! Don't have many pictures as its been raining since I got the keys! Here are a couple through from inside the showroom. Will have some more pics and thoughts on the car in the next few days but in short it feels amazing! Worth every second...

Just spoke to my dealer - locked in for this afternoon! Interestingly though he said they were still having issues with software for the radio and they were waiting to hear back from Ford... Said they would deliver the car regardless though and if need be would fix up the radio post Xmas.

Great to hear so many deliveries are set to take place tomorrow! Sleep is going to be a struggle tonight!

Thanks guys. Fingers crossed pre-delivery goes smoothly and I'm able to pick up the keys on Thursday! Indicator stalk definitely on the right and when I (briefly) opened the boot I didn't see any sub woofer. The car does have the 'shaker' branding inside though. Yellow GT will let you know...

Just got back from my dealer. Car turned up overnight! :cheers: The car is filthy (as expected after 4 months of sitting around!) and there is a small dent on the rear quarter panel and a light scratch on the front quarter panel... Dealer is going to get both items fixed up. Not ideal but...

I'm up the coast at the moment. It was up at Pacific Ford Noosa. ... and a dodgy looking photo taken with my phone... At least there are no number plate holders fitted to the back :)

Looks like cars are flowing through to dealers. Or at least they seem to be here up in QLD. Just drove past my local Ford dealer. Out the back by the service area was a red ecoboost. All the protective wrapping still on it so I'm assuming it must have come in late today.

The prixcar tracking site has updated for my car this morning... It says it is being picked up from the holding yard today and due to be at the dealer on 24 December. If that is accurate I'm assuming the car will be ready for delivery around the 30th due to Christmas. Anyone else got any...

Nothing new from my end... Dealer has no new information for me. Car still sitting in a holding yard in Brisbane. Still at least I have a new tracking site to keep constantly refreshing in the hope that Ford decides it wants to actually sell me a car :)

I wonder what odds on this being the software update to disable line lock... There most likely wasn't enough time between building the cars and shipping them to allow them to update the software :doh:

It is... I can't believe its mid December and still no cars have been delivered (with the exception of the 3AW press stunt...). These cars were built in August! I didn't think it was possible for Ford to further delay these cars... What was the point of the 'extensive' up-fitter process if...

Melbourne, Port Kembla and Brisbane vehicles on the Fidelio now listed as "Liner Release" status. Anyone know what that means? Looks like the Fidelio is still in port at Melbourne and is due to arrive at Port Kembla on Friday before getting to Brisbane on Sunday. Hoping there isn't another 2...

Good spot 4stanger. Mine is also on the Fidelio and is also now saying that it's going to be discharged at Brisbane. Looks like there are 13 Mustangs on the Fidelio coming into Brisbane... Will be interesting to see if it stays as Brisbane or if it reverts back to Melbourne. Any NSW people...
