  1. Who in OZ has placed an order ?

I would certainly push them on it OzS550. I doubt any dealers will budge on the RRP so the only negotiation leaver we have is to try and get them to reduce the on-road costs. Just looked up the on-road costs I paid on my FG (purchased in NSW). The on-road costs were $3,138 made up of $900...
  2. Who in OZ has placed an order ?

Those prices are better than I expected and I think a pretty fair price for the car. Suggests that Ford are serious about selling this car in decent volumes in Aus. Agree Austang that it will be interesting to see what the dealers charge on top...
  3. Who in OZ has placed an order ?

Excellent news Aussierob. Hopefully I get a call from my dealer this week with an update!
  4. Who in OZ has placed an order ?

I hope that is correct about the customers with deposits down being in the first batch! My fear is that after we wait all this time that it becomes a lottery who gets cars and when. I.e. A bit like what has been happening with people who have put orders down for FG-X XR8s...
  5. Mind changed?

Very different car to the Mustang but I quite like it. That said, would only consider it if Ford overprices the Mustang. Here's hoping the dollar stabilises and Ford doesn't decide to try and rip off its potential Mustang customers.
  6. Who in OZ has placed an order ?

It would be great if we do get confirmed pricing and final spec in March. The wait is a killer! Put my deposit down in October for a manual GT fastback in Guard. Sounds like there are quite a few people on here from Aus with deposits down.
  7. Aussie price speculation

Good point OzS550! I also hadn't considered the convertible being included within the $50-70k range. Will be interesting to see when Ford Aus do actually announce pricing and models.
  8. Aussie price speculation

Got in touch with a dealer today. Similar info to the above. Said Ford Aus has given them very little information but they are not expecting it until late 2015 with pricing between $50 and $70k. $70k would be okay for the V8 provided it comes with good spec and the performance pack. Hoping its...
