I just went with the ÂŁ50 basic one and have loads left. I have had my kit for over a year and it still seems fine.
You can make the results better and better by adding more layers I stoped at about four layers as I felt that it was good enough to not be noticed anymore. From memory I think it...
Bit late to reply to this one. But I would Go DrColour Chip. It’s expensive but i got a perfect match and you can’t make a mess of it as the solution removes all excess. I did a few bonnet chips on mine about two years ago and it’s lasted fine.
I left the paint on for a few minutes before...
Brand new condition no scratches or wear.
Black resin gear knob with white details. Purchased from CJ pony parts. includes aluminium anodised black collar to enable lift collar reverse to work.
Simple screw on/off fitting.
By the time I had this sent from the states it cost me about ÂŁ100...
I read the leather and vinyl care pages and it’s all very informative so thanks for that! If only I could get their products here in the U.K. sadly it would cost a lot of money to ship here.
I will look for other products based on what they recommend ingredient wise.
Thanks that clears things up nicely.
Thanks for the other replies too, it does seem odd the colour is transferring.. it could be dirt but my car has 9000m on it and Is rarely used. When I do use it I do have the windows open a lot but I’m very fussy about keeping it clean and it has never not...
I have had it since new so no repairs and it happens on all seats. Mine didn’t have any care tags. It’s the Gliptone gentle cleaner which then causes black dye to transfer to the cleaning cloth. I did ask Gliptone and they said that their products shouldn’t cause this.
They did say some colour...
So when I initially purchased my 2017 GT I just assumed those standard black interior seats were leather. But recently using proper gliptone leather cleaner and conditioner has caused black dye to come off on the cloths. The seats look great after being treated but I have a suspicion they are...
Thanks, hopefully my next choice will last a bit longer . I would be happy with 15000 with a car like this and my driving style.
I forgot to add they have been 32psi cold since new.
Just looking at my tyres now i have done 9000miles. The fronts are fine (no surprise) but the rears are just shy of the indicators on about 20% of the width. The wear is just off centre towards the outside on both tyres. Not really central enough for over inflation.... negative camber?
For...
Thanks for all the input guys.
I have booked in with Modurstang on Tuesday and it’s £100 cheaper then Ford so all good.
Yes I’m all for DIY as I have just finished a complete nut and bolt rebuild of a track Impreza but as mentioned I want to keep my warranty while I can. After that I will be...
Yeah I don’t want to trust any random mechanic (to be honest I only trust me) but the guys I use at Hendy performance (part of Hendy Ford Eastleigh) are very good. They only work on the mustangs and ST’s so it’s not the usual main dealer lot working on it.
If it were just standard ford dealer...
Yeah certainly could do that with but it’s all about the warranty for me. Plus I purchased a brand new car with the specific aim of not working on it myself after years of doing just that . Plus it’s another expense when i will still have to do the £280 service afterwards anyway....
I appreciate that there are many bigger problems in the world right now, but is anyone else having trouble getting your service done? My car is still under warranty and due the second year service last month. My local dealer has chosen to close and states they have petitioned Ford to honour...
Paid that much for just the first service at Ford which was only an oil change. My second service in March is ÂŁ330!
That’s at Hendy Ford in Eastleigh.
