I just received my fuel system from Wengerd. I wondered if anyone has installed it. It didn’t come with directions and wanted to know how they mounted and routed the wiring. TIA.
I went ahead and purchased the Wengerd returnless fuel system last night. Wengerd got back to me and said he has taken care of any starvation issues with his system. Thanks to all that chimed in with info. It was much needed. Now that I know I’m going e85 with a flex tune on an ESS 120 pulley...
Mike,
Thanks for taking the time explaining this. I will discuss these items with Wengerd and see if he has addressed them. I have a lot to learn about e85 and fuel systems.
2021. Getting ready to order the Wengerd returnless system and tune. I think I’ve read some of your information on this system. Are you of the opinion that it is capable?
Another question, once I make the switch and get the flex tune, do I just make sure the tank is empty in 93 then swap the tune and fill up with e85? Or can they be mixed? Not sure how that works.
No sir, probably just stay with the 120 pulley ~ 8-10 psi. Just looking for info on the switch. I really haven't seen many cons to going e85. Wanting to make sure before I jump.
Just wondering where boosted (ess) guys get their e85. Do you trust pump fuel and if so what station/brand? Looking to move up from my 93 and know nothing about the do's and don'ts of e85. Getting ready to purchase a returnless fuel system and injectors from Wengerd.
I know that is what they are supposed to be, but I looked up my window sticker and it only says 255 on it. Just wasn’t for sure if they outfitted any with 255 on front and back. Would like to go back to 275. Not sure which rims are 9 and which are 9.5 from the previous owner/dealer swapping tires.
I have a 2021 GT with Performance Pack and magneride. I bought the car used from a dealership and it had 255’s all the way around. Did any mustangs come with a squared setup from the factory or did the dealership mess up and put 255’s on the rear instead of 275’s? Any way to tell if a rim is 9...
Thanks for the responses. I appreciate you all taking the time to help. My installer did some digging while I was asking on this forum. He came up with Motorcraft M12405M50A, One step colder Coyote plug.
Hey guys, my installer wants me to pick up new plugs for my 2021 Mustang. He’s installing an ESS G3 kit. Running a 120 pulley on 93 octane. I’ve heard one step colder and I’ve also heard oem. What’s the right plug/gap I need for this set up?
