I get where you're coming from, and as tough of a pill as it is to swallow, I've come to the conclusion that us wrenching on our own cars is on the way out with anything new and will be limited to older and classic cars as folks like us are in the minority. As far as cost to repair and maintain...
I'd absolutely love to hear the "adverse global consequences" of solar power. I've always been curious as to why there's so much pushback on things like this. There's nothing wrong with progress. Fair enough if you don't think ICE cars are having an adverse effect on the environment. What is...
My car does this too, regardless of if I'm using Carplay or just bluetooth. I haven't been able to figure out anything besides the same workaround you're using.
FWIW I drove both cars back to back before I ordered mine and the suspension and chassis upgrades with the PP were a surprising difference and well worth it.
I'm gonna be jealous if it comes with those, as I just picked up my 17 GT two weeks ago. I really wanted a 10 speed, but hopefully some of the other 2018 parts will be retrofittable.
Like I mentioned in my post, I was referring to outperforming the total package, so maybe a poor choice of words. I get where you're coming from, but there's more to a car than just 0-60 numbers and track times. Sure I could get a base 1ss that would take out my GTPP, but that base Camaro would...
I'm pretty sure this is where the comparison is coming from that shows a .7 difference. My bad on the dual clutch, I was thinking of the A10 you mentioned.
I have actually! Definitely not throwing shade at the Camaro as it is a really great car. Performance wise there is a decent number advantage there and I almost considered getting one. However performance aside, dollar for dollar our cars are a far better deal. We trade off a small bit of...
Not to mention doesn't the Camaro only pull off the half second advantage when its equipped with a dual clutch box and a whole bunch of other options that make it about $50k? I can live with a .5 difference, our cars will still dust 95% of whats out there on the streets today, and are much more...
If they come out with something like that I'd really hope so. Assuming everything fits in all the same holes retrofitting should be possible. People over on the BMW forums were able to retro their analog gauges to digital displays fairly easy on cars like the X5 and 5 series.
Does anyone else notice their ass hitting the bolster when you get into the car? I've only have the car three days and I've noticed its wearing the leather on the outside edge of the bolster. I'm a little surprised that its so soft.
The fenders I can live with honestly. Its the headlight that's driving me crazy when you compare the two there is an obvious difference. I'll post some photos In a little while for clarification
