  3. ****Katzkin leather seats from Moddiction. Tons of colors and materials to choose!

Did they get you any pic of this installed? I'd love to see what that looks like. Also how well do all the wrinkles come out of these seats once installed? Every picture I've seen so far looks loosely fitted and I'd really prefer that tight OEM look.
  4. Age of mustang owners?

That absolutely makes sense, if you plan on keeping it long term then definitely paying if off fast as possible is the most beneficial and there's nothin wrong with that. I was more commenting in reference to the gentleman implying that us younger folks don't know anything about finances...
  5. Age of mustang owners?

Unless you have a decent interest rate and didn't go with 0 down. It's not always black and white and there is a happy medium. You don't have to put >30% down to beat the average depreciation rate (19% 1st year, 10%/year after that) and unless you're structured to write off the depreciation then...
  6. Age of mustang owners?

Yeah... the return on my portfolio, 401k and IRA far exceed the interest on my car note, and this thing sure isn't going to appreciate in value. Dumping that kind of money into a depreciating asset on a down payment makes no sense at all unless you plan on never getting rid of it. People are...
  7. Insurance......Again

As someone who works with insurance companies this logic blows my mind. Yes you're being charged more for other people, that is quite literally the definition of insurance. You aren't just paying for yourself, if you'd like to be you certainly have the option to self insure. You as a person are...

  13. 2018 new dash thoughts?

I think this probably has to do with the fact that they wanted to add the screen but didnt want to retool the whole dash. Since it's optional i would assume its designed to fit in the exact same slot and the normal gauges
  14. 2018 new dash thoughts?

BACK IN MY DAY ALL WE NEEDED WAS A HORSE. NONE OF THIS NEWFANGLED TIRES AND ENGINE NONSENSE. The irony of all of this is the inevitable arguing about how any new technology is garish and unnecessary....on a forum... on the internet... about an everyman car that puts down more power than any...
  15. 2018 new dash thoughts?

I wouldn't say that I doubt it. At first glance at least the slot that the module fits in looks to be the same size and these types of things typically are plug and play with a little bit of programming. When BMW switched to a similar style of gauge on the 5/6 series and the x5, tons of people...
  16. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

They were saying the digital display is optional, which means it must be modular enough to have either fit in the dash. Fingers crossed we can retrofit it. I know that was the case when BMW went to digital displays, it was practically plug and play.
  17. 2018 Mustang GT Revealed (Video)!!

Good god it looks like some weird 90's knock off. That is not at all what I was expecting. Glad I took a '17

  19. 2018 Mustang Information (Options/Packages, Colors)

If there's a digital dash display that isn't retrofittable... I'm going to hurl myself out a window.
