Ford, like GM, does not stockpile parts. The storage costs are too high. Car companies do Just In TIme (JIT) for most of the components.

My guess is the first HP cars will get scheduled after Flat Rich resumes production in a couple weeks. No direct knowledge of the process, but it makes sense in my thinking. It comforts me on why my car has not been scheduled. 🤣
