No reason to claybar the vinyl stripes imo. Vinyl isn't like paint, and you might get some claybar caught in the edges of the stripes, which is a pita to remove.
This is a pic of front GT350 wheel on my mustang with no camber adjustment. 295 Yokohama AD08R tires. Never rubbed. I run more camber now (-3 degrees) and they don't poke at all. Never shine the fender liner even under hard cornering.
It's probably just you. The only thing I don't like about leather is you have to be a little more mindful about how you get in/out if you want to avoid really bad bolster wear. I am always careful + condition the leather at least every 2 weeks.
They might try to plastic weld the tabs on the bumper to avoid replacing it if it has no paint damage. They will probably replace fender liner for sure. Hard to tell if the aluminum fender will have to be replaced. The side skirt piece looks like it can maybe be popped back in, but it's hard to...
Hard to say. I guess like some others, pretty much until problems that the car has are no longer worth fixing. That being said, if I was looking to upgrade to a better sports car and needed the cash, I would sell without much remorse.
My APR splitter is actually the one they make for the GT350. A guy on these forums traded in his car and offered it to me for a steal. It actually fits really well.
The actual GTCS APR splitter can be found here...
Bullshit comments amount to saying an SS is faster than a GT PP, and that an SS 1LE runs close to a GT350? Note that there was never any mention of the R by DUMPWEED. Let's be real GT PP < SS < SS 1LE ≈ GT350 < GT350R < ZL1 < ZL1 1LE.
That's the R, and on stickier rubber.
If we are comparing MT times for the R and the ZL1 1LE on Laguna the R runs 1:36.11 and the ZL1 1LE runs 1:34:30. Either way, very impressive from both pony cars.
