  1. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

So, are you saying you shouldn't buy a GT350 because you can't drive? I'm confused. Call me a one-percenter, then. I'm headed to the track this weekend to see if I can knock another 2 tenths off my best lap time.
  2. Has anyone see Avalanche and doesn't like it?

Since you asked, I don't like avalanche at all. It looks like primer to me. I also don't like white or yellow. I'm so burned out on all the silver/gray cars that are so popular these days. But I like black (all four of my vehicles are black) and some people say black is boring. I guess this is...
  3. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

^^^^^^^^ This guy, nailed it! :clap2:
  4. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

For those who haven't seen it, here's what I was referring to about Ford not releasing times: http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/ford-claims-nurburgring-lap-times-arent-worth-it-2013-11-28 looks like someone beat me to it
  5. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

Just because it is on the internet, doesn't make it true. They made you click.
  6. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

Ford has said before that they don't release Ring times because there is no official timing system there and mfrs can manipulate the numbers. When did this happen?
  7. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

I just noticed there is a Cobra logo and honeycomb grille in the background of the dyno graph. Nice work. Looks like a closeup of the grille emblem, maybe.
  8. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

With more detail I can now see that they have not used a lot of data points in that graph. I seriously doubt the spike in torque from 3000 to 3500 rpm really looks like it does on this chart. They probably only used data points at 250 or 500 rpm intervals. Ok, I'm being picky but I'll take one...
  9. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

HP and TQ always cross at 5250 (5252, IIRC) but look closely at the graph and you'll see the HP and TQ scales are different from side to side. I hate it when they print dyno charts this way.
  10. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

I was thinking the active exhaust valves referred to EXHAUST VALVES in the heads. I bet they mean valves in the tail pipes for quite and loud modes. Makes more sense. Or they just open at high RPM. Has this been discussed already? My memory is not so good.
  11. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

[Assuming this is a legit question] Nearly every current car sold in the US uses knock sensors to pull back timing when necessary. You can run less octane but it will make less power. Engines have been doing this for many years now. All the Coyotes do it.
  12. GT350R Mustang Engine/Exhaust Note Sounds

A heater/defogger is probably required by the feds for safety so I doubt you can sell a production car in the US without one.
  13. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

"not exciting" ... Some people will never be satisfied. 526 HP... that sucks. lol.
  14. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

Some of this is really interesting. Largest TB ever. What is this about active exhaust valves? Sounds shady. I like the attention to detail in lightening the parts.
  15. 2015+ GT350 Mustang official power specs: 526 HP / 429 LB-FT!

Where's the details? Torque? Dyno graph? Any more to this? Where's TN hiding?
  16. Ordering Guide - 2015-2016 Shelby GT350 and GT350R Mustang

Read the forum. 90% of people buying these cars will NEVER take them on a real racetrack and will probably never do a track day and learn the necessary skills to drive these cars at their limit. Why make the majority buy expensive equipment that they will never use? I think all of those...
  17. GT350 Colors

Technically speaking, that is a spoiler not a wing. But THAT griping is probably happening on another forum. THIS forum is meant for griping about the GT350. :)
  18. Who is planning to order? Check in here

Of course, all of "you guys" running out and putting in orders is driving up the perceived demand and is going to make the dealers more likely to charge ADM. Make sure you get your deal in writing.
