  1. Lowering a Bullitt with magnaride

I'm thinking about adding Steeda's springs for the Magneride. Did ya'll need to add the adjustable caster/camber plate or camber bolts to get the suspension to align correctly or did the OE parts work out ok? Lee
  2. Deep tone cat-back with no drone

Steeda, all day, every day. Throw in their H pipe & blammo, done. For the $$, best bang for the buck.
  3. Octane curiosity - anybody running 87 octane?

I gassed up today and there was a 55 cent per gallon margin between 87 & 91, 60 cents more for 93, ergo my inquiry to all. Yeah, I imagine the HP drops a tad but I wonder if I'd even feel it. Lee
  4. Octane curiosity - anybody running 87 octane?

The owner's manual says the Bullitt can run on 87 octane. Yes, yes- I know- heresy (and to publicly announce it now, I've never run anything less than 91 in her so far) but I'm curious if anyone has done that & what the results were. Please, withhold derisive comments. This is just curiosity. Lee
  5. GT Mustang GT S550 Part-out sale / suspension / exhaust / wheels / differential etc

Can you quote me shipping on the springs to 34990? Thanks. Lee
  6. My First Car Was...

1972 Ford Pinto, w/a manual, in a dark brown exterior w/a tan interior. I learned how to fix cars w/that one, all self-taught (pre-internet days of the mid 70's) and not very well, I might add. Car looked like this but mine was modded- jacked up rear end, Cragar mag wheels, headers, side pipes...
  7. Old fart here

I turn 60 in 6 days. This has been a supremely crappy year for me but I'm glad to have made it to 60 as many of my former coworkers and colleagues have not made it this far. I sure hope my 61st year is a better one. Allow me to explain. I had a near-fatal surgery in May (during the height of...
  8. How often do you guys see other Bullitts on the road?

    Uh, no, they don't. :punch:
  9. How often do you guys see other Bullitts on the road?

First off, black Bullitts don't count. Second, in the 2 months I've owned mine, I've only seen one DHG Bullitt so far on FL's Treasure Coast, and that was about 2 weeks before I picked mine up. I figured that was a sign to buy mine. Lee
  10. A Little COVID-19 Humor (No Politics Please!)

A 47 page memoir of Covid19 humor that's requested to not have politics involved but it seems politics seems to be the main focus of much of the thread. Hmmmmm......
  11. Which catback should I get?

Yes & didn't mean to mislead. I own a Bullitt, still have the stock active exhaust on this one. But in my past experience & ownership of Steeda exhausts, I don't recall your experiences.
  12. Which catback should I get?

I never even considered the term 'raspy' or higher pitch w/any of my Steeda cans. Always found them to have a deep tonal quality.
  13. Which catback should I get?

I've had 2-3 sets of Steeda cans on various Stangs. Never found them any louder at start-up than my FR500S cans but yes, loudness being subjective to the ear, I guess one might consider them loud at that particular point. I do love how the newest version sound tho- simply awesome & the...
  14. Which catback should I get?

One word- STEEDA. Not so long ago I would've said AWE Touring however the Steeda cans for the current gen are well made, sound awesome (no drone) and are comparatively dirt cheap to AWE.
  15. Incoming! Thanks to Black Friday

Yes, I knew about that already. As I recall, James use to be the lead tuner at SCT. Perhaps that's one of the reasons for his preference?
  16. 2019-2020 Bullitt Mustang M6G Owners' Registry

Picked up K7595, a low mileage '19 in DHG, about a month ago & she now resides on the Treasure Coast of FLA. Lee
  17. Incoming! Thanks to Black Friday

Took advantage of the Black Friday sales. So far, I've purchased a passenger side JLT oil separator, Steeda perch clutch spring set-up, Ford Racing hood struts (ought to come standard w/this car!), Husky floor liners front & rear, and a Steeda resonator delete H pipe. I'm still not entirely sold...
  18. Need advice - buying a used Bullitt

I recently bought my used '19 Bullitt w/about 8k on the odo for around $43k. I got an outstanding trade in value on my '09 GT500 so that helped me rethink the asking price. Yes, I think the B's price was tad higher than it should've been but the car was in excellent condition, w/all the bells &...
