  1. Sound tube in '19 Bullitt?

I haven't checked yet but did Ford put in one of those silly sound tubes into the cabin for the current gen Bullitt?
  2. 2019 Bullitt poster

And if he doesn't want it, I'd be glad to take it off your hands. Thanks! Lee
  3. Weathertech vs Husky floor mats?

Husky for me, in all my cars. Never let me down, perfect fit, easy to clean, indestructible as far as I can tell, and highly discounted from one of the site vendors. Got the new set (2F/2R) for my Bullitt for around $130.
  4. Traded in the my 16 GT for a 13 Boss 302 Laguna Seca

I almost went from my '09 GT500 to a '13 Boss in GHIG. It was the only competition really for what I ended up with -the '19 Bullitt. Honestly, if I had found a nice, low mileage Boss in Grabber Blue, I likely would not have gotten the Bullitt. Drive her vigorously.
  5. Transmission feels like crap when cold on the first few shifts

I agree w/what everyone else has said so far. Have you added the Steeda clutch spring perch kit? I did recently and it cleaned up the clutch feel about 146%, providing a far more consistent & progressive pedal feel. Lee
  6. Ford performance hood strut problems

Just installed them a week ago w/no issues- sorry, mate.
  7. Just bought a 2020 Bullitt

When I found my perfect '09 GT500 some 5 years back, it was in Dallas, TX and I'm here in SE FLA. I tried to have it shipped home & needed it asap as my Stangs are my daily drivers & I didn't want to rent. Could not work out a deal w/the shippers to get it home in a timely fashion so I bought...
  8. Custom Bullitt T-shirts

I got 2 Bullitt T's for holiday presents, one a generic one my wife got off zazzle, I think, and another from the IMBOC website. Lee
  9. Florida BMR Camber Bolts Front 2.5 Degrees Offset 2015 to 2019 Mustang

I realize this has been a while but are these still available?
  10. Octane curiosity - anybody running 87 octane?

AH, AND THERE COMES THE SOUND OF AN SVT FORUM SITE MEMBER!
  11. Octane curiosity - anybody running 87 octane?

WHILE I APPRECIATE EVERYONE'S INPUT, I ALWAYS FIND IT INTERESTING/FUNNY HOW, WHEN ONE POSTS A TOPIC OF THIS NATURE, SO MANY PEOPLE TAKE OFFENSE TO THE TOPIC, AS IF IT AFFECTS THEM PERSONALLY WHEN, CLEARLY, IT DOES NOT. NO ONE IS FORCING ANYONE TO PUT IN ANY PARTICULAR OCTANE, OR BRAND OF GAS IN...
  12. Hood Struts

STEEDA has the Ford struts at a great price. That's where I got mine. Install was a snap because a buddy of mine did it for me. (I was having a really bad day...) Lee https://www.steeda.com/ford-performance-m-16826-ma-mustang-hood-strut-kit
  13. Octane curiosity - anybody running 87 octane?

Out of curiosity, I loaded up w/a tank of Sunoco's good ol' 87 octane today in the '19. Saved myself more than $7 for the 11 gallons over their 91 octane's price. Would've been even more if I had gone as I often do w/their 93 octane. Doesn't sound like much but over time that could add up...
  14. Why DIDN'T you get a camaro?

    Mine looked like this
  15. Why DIDN'T you get a camaro?

Everyone has touched upon the Camaro's interior, visibility, and limited back seat & tight trunk space so I won't bother. Some background so you understand my perspective- My 1st 'muscle' car was a '78 Z28. Loved the heck out of that car as it was my entry vehicle into American muscle but in...
  16. Has anyone previously owned the 2011-2014 Mustang 5.0 (any model)?

I had a '14 GT Track Pack model . Never an issue w/anything, did basic bolt-ons and loved the car. High quality build from Ford, IMHO.
  17. Four first mods to the Bullitt

It is the way of Spectreman for things like this to go. Simple jobs are never simple and when things do fall in place, I am always left wondering what will come next... Lee
  18. Four first mods to the Bullitt

Late bday presents to myself. What should've been simple installs, however, much of it all turned into a calamity of errors and wasted time. None of this should've taken me more than an hour or so and instead, I spent the better part of the afternoon getting it done w/the help of a friend...
  19. Mfg. recommended tire pressure

Michelin recommends 32 psi for the tires f/r. I didn't realize this at first and had been running 35 psi all around since I got the car a few months back, as that's what my former GT500's tires called for. At 35 psi, the tires handled/braked/performed fine; but after I realized my error, I...
  20. Active Exhaust Valves?

I'd ask, 'why?' I have the active exhaust on my Bullitt & find it gimmicky at best. At first I thought, 'how cool!' but frankly, I'd rather have a singular exhaust note all the time (as all my prior cars have had) & stop fiddling w/the damn set-up every time I start the car. Your car, your...
