Was your R new? If so that’s bonkers you got one for under sticker.. congrats nonetheless. I have sticker pricing on a 19 as well.. but I’m impatiently waiting to see if I can find a reasonably price 19 R haha.

Maybe buy it for post warranty? But other than that it’s silly unless you plan to make mods under warranty.

Good point, however they’ve had several brand new non R’s at the dealership over the past 2 years..

There have been 5 non R’s I’ve seen at the dealership within the last 18 months. Now I just can’t wrap my head around them thinking they’re not street legal...I’ve seen an R with Wisconsin tags before. And I’d love to acquire a 2019 because the dealership doesn’t do markups.

So I just got off the phone with a dealer back in my homestate, they said the reason they couldn’t get an R is because “they’re not street legal in Wisconsin.” I laughed when the manager told me that. He even went as far to say the owner tried purchasing one and they couldn’t get one for him...
