  1. Navigation instructions cutting off

Interesting, I’m on 3.4.21020 but the Ford website says my system is up to date…
  2. Navigation instructions cutting off

Thanks, it is allegedly updated, did the usb update just after getting the car
  3. Navigation instructions cutting off

Hello, When I use the sync3 navigation, sometimes the voice commands cut off, sounding like: In two m[silence]es, turn ri[silence]t or something like that. Is that a normal quirk of the system? I prefer to use the in-built navigation instead of Carplay as I like the direction arrow appearing...
  4. Automatic Mustang Kangarooing

It's actually gotten better now, not sure if it's because of the warmer weather, me learning how to dose the throttle or some "intelligent" car system learning. But it seems clear now that it was a throttle sensitivity issue. Coming from a GT86, the throttle in the Toyota was a bit dull, so I...
  5. Automatic Mustang Kangarooing (UK)

I had a quick ride during lunchtime, it does feel like the problem is indeed throttle sensibility + cold engine. It didn't happen in normal mode (although it's a bit hard to hold a gear in that mode), but sport mode was miles better too, and today's 30C over here and the car sat in the sun all...
  6. New GT, some questions

Yes I have the same plates. The only stickers that actually held were the ones that came with the plates. I will try some Halford ones today, as I've heard they're quite good. The trouble is that the front stripes are getting ruined with all the sticker changes :/
  7. Automatic Mustang Kangarooing (UK)

    that's a good idea!
  8. New GT, some questions

Ah ah slippery slope indeed. I do plan to add an H pipe, strut brace and BRM cradle lockout, but I'll wait a bit in case there are some new car snags. In the meantime I have to figure out how to make the front plate to stick properly, grrr
  9. Automatic Mustang Kangarooing

Got some replies on the "global" forum, it does look like it might be caused by high throttle sensibility and the foot slighlty bobbing up and down
  10. Automatic Mustang Kangarooing (UK)

It happens when I hold a gear. I think you guys are onto something with the throttle sensibility, it might be actually what happens
  11. New GT, some questions

A bit of an update. I ended up getting a Pandora immobiliser for peace of mind (just before the price increase). It seems to work pretty well, although their app is terrible and crashes constantly. I also got the stripes done at Reddiwraps, cost about ÂŁ400 but the car looks so much better with...
  12. Automatic Mustang Kangarooing (UK)

Hi, it happens between 2k and 3k revs, so nowhere near the limiter. It doesn't happen if I feather the throttle or fully put my foot down, only when I give it some gas to make it go but not pedal to the metal. It feels like it would if it was hitting the limiter or the fuel supply was not...
  13. Automatic Mustang Kangarooing

Thanks for the links, really interesting read! My car actually shifts fine, the problem is only when I try to hold a gear and try to get to high revs. If I feather the throttle or I floor it it's fine, but if I go heavy but not too much it judders between 2k and 3k revs. Almost feel like the...
  14. Automatic Mustang Kangarooing (UK)

Hello, now that I got a bit more familiar with the mustang (a new 2021 automatic, UK spec) I started using it more often in S mode with the manual paddles. I've noticed that in second and third gear, if I use about half throttle, the car starts kangarooing quite badly, going back and forth...

Hello, now that I got a bit more familiar with the mustang (a new 2021 automatic) I started using it more often in S mode with the manual paddles. I've noticed that in second and third gear, if I use about half throttle, the car starts kangarooing quite badly, going back and forth almost as if...
  16. Magneride after the fact?

I am starting to think about handling mods, does anyone know if it’s possible to add Magneride to a non-mag car? Otherwise, what suspension mods are worthwhile? I am definitely thinking about the brm cradle lockout 005, and I’ll use the Mustang mostly as a long distance motorway GT with the...
  17. New GT, some questions

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I ended up booking an appointment to get a Pandora Storm installed (just in the nick of time before the price increase), and also booking with Reddiwraps for the sttipes. They did a mustang just a couple of days ago.
  18. New GT, some questions

I am looking at the pandora storm, it should do what the ghost does plus a lot more. But to be honest I’m also looking at a gap insurance instead. It costs more or less the same but also works if the car is written off. I don’t have any experience with gap insurance though, and I can’t say I...
  19. New GT, some questions

Ah ah, oh dear, I might hold on the ghost a bit then. I use a faraday pouch and a stoplock, so that might be enough. Thanks for the input on the stripes, I’ll give the place in redditch a call. I didn’t see the car until I picked it out (long story) but it looked better than I imagined, the...
  20. New GT, some questions

Hello all, after lurking for a while, this week I finally got my 2021 GT. Loving it so far! Got a couple of questions: It’s my first new car, so I’m thinking to have a Ghost immobiliser installed, would it be worth it? Also, I definitely want stripes, would it be better to get some from the...
