  1. Drove a 51k 18 gt

16k can buy a blower plus a lot of other mods. I am genuinely glad the 2018s are getting a bump in power, A10 and better performance pack options. But you can make your "old and busted" 2017 a superior car for less than 16k. It just depends on your priorities.
  2. Black Friday

I'll take shock mounts, front control arm bearings, and rear LCA bearings  I am seriously considering the Steeda/Brembo big brake kit as well. SVE S350 wheels make the stock brakes look like they belong on a Prius....
  3. 2019 Focus Spied

Looks like tapered hood creases and angled bumper "intakes" are becoming Ford's new styling motif  At least there is no gap below the headlights, and the bottom grille doesn't look unfinished.
  4. Whipple Gen3 2.9L Dyno Results

This thread reminds me there are people who *still* don't believe men walked on the moon. None of us were there, so it probably didn't happen, right? Anyhoo, congrats to LethalPerformance and @Whipple_SC for the incredible dyno numbers. Whether this is representative of "real...
  5. SUSPENSION HELP PLEASE!

The bad news: That shock is done. The good news: Now you have a very good reason to replace them with better ones  I also have Steeda progressive springs. I installed Steeda Pro-Action non-adjustable shocks & struts, and they are 100x better than stock (but if I did it again, I'd...
  6. Jalopnik review up on 18

Yeah I am fully aware of what a disclosure means. My job ensures that I attend plenty of conferences where the speakers make such disclosures...the vast majority of whom get *zero* perks from the sponsoring entity, nor have any under-the-table affiliations.
  7. Jalopnik review up on 18

The most noteworthy paragraph (imo): Full Disclosure: Ford bought me a plane ticket, put me up at cool ranch in Malibu and fed me for a couple days, like a few dozen other journalists, to convince us to write about the Mustang. It worked. If someone paid for my roundtrip flight to...
  8. Source for 5mm spacers?

My wheels need to be pushed out just a smidge, so I got the 3 mm version of these 5 mm spacers. The only review is from a Mustang owner with Brembo calipers, but reviews of the same product for other vehicles are generally positive. The item description includes "2016 Mustang" and I paid $12.67...
  9. PARKING

Years ago, I knew "a guy" who kept a deflator in his car just for that reason. Screw it onto the tire valve and watch the magic happen. Extreme douchebaggery would result in more tires being deflated. No real damage done, but a major inconvenience for the Dbag who can't park. The look on their...
  10. Corsa Sport CB vs. ARH CB for A6 with LTHs?

I have not heard ARH in person, but I can tell you that Corsa has *zero* drone. I have Corsa Sport CB with stock headers and auto transmission, and it is only slightly louder than stock at highway speeds (but punch the throttle and that changes). For me, no drone was just as important as the...
  11. Source for 5mm spacers?

Do you have a link? I looked at their web site, but only found spacers for 2014 and older models.
  12. PARKING

Ikr. I have watched people wait 10 minutes for someone to leave a parking space, when there was an empty space 20 feet away. No wonder America has an obesity problem. And don't get me started on the asshats who pull into a handicap spot and walk into the store like nothing. Laziness is *not* a...
  13. PARKING

Same thing happens to me. Every time. It never fails. Doesn't matter what vehicle I am in. I can park out in the middle of nowhere, and inevitably some asshat will park next to me.
  14. Whine sound

You win the internet today, sir
  15. Need help dealer curbed my rim

Actually in this situation, "Do Not" is *not* an option either.
  16. Steeda Progressive Spring review

Leave it to Steeda to fix Ford's underwhelming design choices...even the exterior.
  17. 2018 Fury Orange Convertible (Delivered)

I have never done ceramic coating (I am a clear bra guy), but I'd seriously consider doing it on that color. Love that Orange Fury :headbang:
  18. How many miles is too many?

Dealerships are offering really good incentives on new 2017s to make room for the 2018s. You might be able to get into a new 2017 for a lot less than you thought. If you are set on buying used, then I highly recommend CPO. I've had 3 CPO vehicles and had great experiences with each one.
  19. 2018 GT new dynopulls - not on par with previous tests

I thought the same at first, but skip to 2:04 and you can see DynoJet logo
