10R80 Virtual Dyno party. Numbers dont matter really since its just an estimate based on datalogs (doesnt match actual dynos, but gives curve comparisons for power gains). Adjusted for altitude, barometric pressure and temperature and tire height on all runs. Same 3rd gear for all runs, same...
He wants the converter, the wife disagrees. Pricey stuff :) His car ran a 10.8XX @ 127 and again at 128 in Commerce and Silver Dollar Dragway recently each with the above setup. I have a video of his 150 shot he just put on top of the combo from a dyno session. Fun stuff, sounds insane lol
Same guy I'm referring to also had a 2016 with cams and it made 22whp or so more with the cams, so I dont deny there is potential, but it just doesnt seem to have come to fruition yet on the 18+'s with existing tuning attempts. Could be the cams, could be tuning, we dont know yet really tbh...
You can call it as you want sir, but before you call BS, why dont you call Shaun and verify what I said, or ask L&M for some third party dynos on the 18+'s with tuning showing gains, or ask Shaun for before/after dynos on an 18+ with L&M intake cams showing the gains after tuning etc. Good luck
Should have some dyno graphs (Dynojet, SAE, Smoothing 5, 7th gear for the 10R80) of a buddy's 2019 GT car with E85, ported OEM 19 manifold, cat deletes, Lund E85R for you soon (stock intake, stock exhaust manifolds, stock catback besides a Magnaflow resonated x pipe). It made 455whp and 416wtq...
18+ GT intake cams from L&M fyi dont do squat thus far, not sure if its a tuning limitation yet but both AED and Lund have not been able to get notable power increases out of them. Local guy with a FBO 18 GT, E85, longtubes, cat deletes, CJ with monoblade, PMAS and the intake cams made 4whp less...
What are the concerns with the G-Force axles? Thats the first I've heard of this. I hear nightmare stories about DSS driveshafts and axles having major issues all the time.
I do agree here, a proper E85R tune from Lund with straight E85 will be what you're looking for. No knock despite 100+ temps outside and 30-31 degrees of timing, a beautiful thing.
Using pure 93, your calculations are correct, but note that the stock tune is anticipating 93 octane on 10% ethanol. It can adjust either way but would be best to at least check your trims and such if you can borrow a tuner to make sure all is healthy. AFR stoichiometric ratios of pure 93 vs 93...
How about an answer:
Based on a 16 gallon tank, you can add 1.1 gallons of E85 to the tank and fill the rest up with 93 octane to get to 93.8 octane ish net, should be fine/safe.
Without knowing the exact amount of gas remaining at this blend level, you would need to refill a consistent...
Aftermarket offers tons, link below :) And you can get them in matte, real CF
