  1. Boosted Natural Gas Car

Well consensus is it’s a terrible idea.
  2. Boosted Natural Gas Car

The problem is octane limits and fuel density. Even C16 is only going to be slightly over 120 octane and cost a fortune. Imagine being able to run 25psi with on a 12:1 engine with high timing with a fuel that is super cheap.
  3. Boosted Natural Gas Car

No propane is a different animal. It is low in the BTU department compared with gas and the octane is similar to ethanol.
  4. Boosted Natural Gas Car

I was doing some reading on compressed natural gas conversions for vehicles. Natural gas has many problems to overcome before mass adoption but from a boosted perspective it looks like a great fuel. Pros 1. 130 octane 2. No pump needed 3. Doesn’t need to vaporize 4. Pressure can be raised...
  5. Best battery tender connection EVER

If the tender draws 1.5 amps (assuming from a 120v outlet) it is capable of outputting 11.25 amps at 12v assuming 75% charger efficiency. They are variable output so this is just a maximum rating. I have a soft spot for awesome connectors and this one is very cool and clean.
  6. Best battery tender connection EVER

Great idea OP. Love the simplicity of that connector. Btw here is a chart on gauging since this thread is devolving. Also hope that pigtail comes with a fuse on the other end.
  7. More Ford Suckage!!

Keep it alive. Almost 100 post of pure crap.
  8. Dealer Mark Up....taking it to the extreme

If the dealer sell it at that price are they genius or ripping someone off? Serous opinions.
  9. The iron law of tuning (important)

You just summed up why I haven’t boosted my car. I figure 25k to spend on boosting and my first engine replacement. I am just going to by a 500 instead.
  10. Is my suspension cracked

Check those sway bar bushings. Some lithium grease on each side will cross that off the list. My 15 had this problem.
  11. More Ford Suckage!!

It’s comical how much of posters time the OP wasted. 5mins per post. That’s about 7 collective hours.
  12. Lund just got his GT500

Do you think he has the first tune in it by now?
  13. Homelink not working (no blinking lights)

I would check the fuses before going any further.
  14. Wrecked 2017 GT Premium

Dash cams are a double edged sword. Legally it’s evidence of a crime has been committed. Deleting the evidence would be a felony. OP they will fix it as long as that rear quarter doesn’t have to be replaced. Replacing a rear quarter is very expensive.
  15. Random warning lights.

I have had this exact thing happen once. No reason whatsoever. Stopping at a red light. By the time the light turned green it had gone off. No codes. No clue
  16. More Ford Suckage!!

You tell my 4 kids and 5 baby mommas this.
  17. More Ford Suckage!!

Ford put in so many antennas to increase fob battery life. You can either run a more powerful transmitter or increase antenna gain thus decreasing antenna field IE more antennas. Ford did everything possible to decrease weight to keep the guzzler tax away. Example. Ford went from 12mm gen...
  18. Will the 350 be updated to the 500's body?

They will do what the bean counters want. I suspect they will bring as many parts over from the 500 as they can. At this point Ford will do what they can make the most amount of money with the least investment. I would expect them to get rid of as many 350 parts as possible for the cost alone.
  19. More Ford Suckage!!

Fat Billy, Ford tried to lose weight where they could. It sounds like you excepted your fate but I am glad Ford hasn’t just resigned itself to being fat.
  20. When can we expect info on the 2021 Mustang GT?

Ford is most likely not going to put money into the Mustang for a little while. 22-23MY. They are cutting jobs in preparation for a recession. I expect them to go to town on packages though. Very similar to what Dodge has done.
