  1. P0304 - Cylinder 4 misfire during WOT at track

Hello Team, I am looking for a little help diagnosing a P0304 code and flashing CEL I keep getting during track events with my 2022 Mach 1 6spd. Basically, after a few warm up laps and I start apply WOT coming out of corners, I will occasionally get a flashing CEL and sometimes a...
  2. Fuel starvation on track

Thanks guys, that is very helpful!
  3. Fuel starvation on track

A quick question for the group, as I am hunting down a problem that could be related: Did anyone get a flashing CEL or Cylinder Misfire Code (P030x) that corresponded to a fuel starvation event? Thanks!
  4. Order tires from Costco for delayed mounting?

Just as a heads up, some folks have issues getting the PS4s to seal correctly the first time on the Apex SM10s. Just something about the combo isn't 100%. I ordered the 19x10 SM10s and PS4s' separately and had them mounted by a mobile installer. All 4 lost air. Took the set to the local experts...
  5. New Track tires and wheels, will it fit?

I am running the SM10's 19x10 ET40 with 285/35 Michelins w/ Magneride shocks and they fit with a few cm to spare. Pretty sure the EC-7 19x10's for the S550 are all 40 offset but either way you should be good to go.
  6. Georgia Roll Call

I can't make it for the March Chin event (already doing RA on March 4th-5th), but it would be awesome to meet up with some other Ford drivers in the area. After March, the only thing I'm signed up for is a 1-day event at Barber in April...
  7. A/C Evaporator Factory Defect

Well damn. Tuesday night I got the sounds (sighing/hissing from the passenger side) and the smells (refrigerant through the vents). Now I've got the hot air. 2022 Mustang Mach 1, 10k miles. It is beyond belief that this is still a problem!
  8. Damaged underbody splash shield

I have hit a bucket and now recently a dead deer, so my splash shield is totally trashed at this point. I have the replacement ready to install just need to do it. Shipping it to your home will cost more than the unit itself, I'd advise going through a dealership parts dept (or Fordparts.com) to...
  9. Transmission fluid recommendation for manual?

Just wanted to report in, I've been running the Red Line D4 for about 1500 miles now and am really happy with it. Shifts are smoother and a lot of the crunchyness going into 3rd and 5th is gone. I may try the MTL this summer but this is a nice improvement. Thank you for the recommendation!
  10. Georgia Roll Call

Thanks again for recommending Speed Foundry of Roswell, they installed new springs and camber plates and did a really nice job. Looking forward to seeing the team at Barber with Jzilla in April. If you guys do the mountain run I'd love to join in 👍
  11. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Great looking car! How'd that happen to your front brakes?
  12. Look what I discovered in my 22! 🤨

I went through a few iterations with my '22 Mach 1 intake, I thought I'd share my notes since this popped up again today. Fuel is always 91/93. 1) Stock Tune, Stock intake. Relative to other setups, I found this setup to be the quietest. Also the motor would consistently hesitate/stumble on...
  13. Transmission drain bolt torque

    Thanks for the link!
  14. Transmission drain bolt torque

I am curious what kind of sealant you all would use for this application? I was similarly puzzled about how far to tighten the drain plug, I eventually just decided "good enough" and marked it so I could see if it moved. I did not apply new sealant.
  15. Georgia Roll Call

I'm glad you brought this up, I also need camber plates and springs installed for next season and was wondering where to go. I will give the Speed Foundry folks a call as well. Thanks guys!
  16. Broken diff bolt?

I hope you are right! I bailed on the home diagnostics and just took it to the dealer, so I will have to wait to hear back from them. I have my doubts it's just driveline slop though. It is a little hard to describe what I am experiencing and I really should have taken a video. I feel fairly...
  17. Broken diff bolt?

Right, yes I was sitting still, foot on the brakes. Car didn't move and stalled out. What a stupid mistake! I was on the side of the road and in a hurry + stressed + distracted when it happened. I will check driveshaft play once up on the ramps. Nothing determined yet.
  18. Broken diff bolt?

Thanks for checking in guys. I know it's all purely speculative at this point so I'm just considering my options. That's the first I've heard of the driveshaft guibo so I'll be sure to look at that too.
  19. Broken diff bolt?

I don't know for sure yet but I am thinking I may have popped a diff bolt this past weekend. Just a mistake on my part, thought I was in neutral but let out the clutch way too fast in first and gave the drive train a real shock. Now when I transition from backing up to moving forward, I get a...
