  1. My 1st Mach1 sighting in the wild

I got to follow a FJG for a few miles up I-75 today. I've been daily driving mine around ATL for 7 months and that was only my 2nd sighting on the road.
  2. Transmission fluid recommendation for manual?

I had not heard that before, but this matches my experience 100%. Another way to say it, my Tremec rewards slower, low-effort shifting. The more I muscle it, the crunchier it gets. I will either try the Redline D4 or MTF on my next fill.
  3. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

I am also not thrilled with the factory fill and have been thinking about redline MT85 (75W85) since that matches Tremec's new MTF that they broadly recommend. But I realize the D4 more closely matches Ford's Dextron III ATF specification for us MT folks. Would love to hear more about the D4 as...
  4. New Product: Steeda Mustang MagneRide Controller

Well dang I have to buy wheels and tires first but I am definitely interested in this. I was already thinking about the DSC controller in the near future and you guys setting up the calibrations sounds great to me. Looking forward to hearing more about it!
  5. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Fog/Driving lights for the front grill?!
  6. High oil pressure

My numbers have always been ~100psi at cold startup, warm idle at 25psi, and back to 100psi with a lot of RPM. That was with the initial fill and current fill (M1 5w30)and the FL500S oil filter. I'm pretty happy with the way the car is running, maybe you don't have a problem? (Or maybe we both...
  7. 2022 5.0 is down on power and torque because:

I think that means 22's have 5.5:1, that's where that 10hp went for sure. That also means 22's are way better for boosting 🤪
  8. What did you do to your Mach 1 today

Looks like a Helmholtz device to reduce resonate frequencies in the intake. Not an uncommon feature on intakes, it can actually improve airflow.
  9. Engine Splash Guard Repair

Here are the three identifying numbers I have on the one I ordered. @murick I've got the same number stamped on mine: MR3B-6A975-AB
  10. Engine Splash Guard Repair

Great write-up Knockdown, thank you for sharing the repair process. I think this part is going to take a beating over time. This looks way better than my current zip-tie repair 😕 I ran over a bucket that really did a number on my shield. I ended up ordering the shield from fordparts.com and...
  11. New Member/New Mach 1

Congrats on the new ride, my 6spd is my daily driver and I love it. If you get to a point where you think the clutch is a little vague, a lot of people swap out the clutch assist spring (I did too) and that helps a bit with finding that consistent engagement point every time. It's a great...
  12. New Member/New Mach 1

    Looking good!
  13. Salesman told me I don't need to do a service @ 1600 Miles

Same here. I kept it under 4k rpm for the first 500 miles, then under 6k rpm until I reached 1000 miles. I did my first oil change @ 2000 miles with Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w30. I'm at 3000 miles now, no ticks, no knocks, no slaps, no oil consumption. Oil drain pan was clear of metal...
  14. Mach 1 Belly Pan part #?

Thank you very much Benny! I really appreciate you checking that for me. Once I get back into town I'll go ahead and place an order with you guys. -C
  15. Mach 1 Belly Pan part #?

Hey team, I was curious if anyone could verify the part # for the Mach 1 Belly Pan, pictured here Photo credit goes to V8der, originally posted here: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/2018-mustang-mach-1-official-bumper-swap-info-and-parts-list.165836/ I have seen this part listed...
  16. Steeda Clutch Spring - Better?

I just installed the Steeda spring and perch today and so far I'm a fan. The reason I tried the lighter spring is I've had several "really is that how the clutch is today?" moments, where I felt like the engagement point/characteristic changed from day to day. Not in a big way, just enough for...
  17. 3D Printed Oil Change Parts & Belly Pan Trap Door

Thanks Jon, yeah I would definitely be interested in one. I'll try to get some pictures/measurements to you this Sunday.
  18. 3D Printed Oil Change Parts & Belly Pan Trap Door

Hey Jon, any idea if the belly pan trap door fits a Mach 1?
  19. 3D Printed Oil Filler Funnel

Just did my first oil change this past weekend. I really appreciated having the funnel when it came time to fill. I remember thinking "hey wow, at least this part is easy!" Car was on jack stands and I never actually put eyes on the original filter until I got it off the car lol. Thanks for...
  20. 2022 Official Mach 1 Order Tracking Thread

Delivered 01/26/22 A little late with the update, but I was finally able to pick mine up on the 26th! Looking at the Jack Cooper info, the car made it off the train in the Atlanta area over the weekend, but took a few days to make it through the queue for final delivery. I'll post a few...
