That filter looks like the old gasket is still stuck to the engine. Seems to be quite a gap there, at least compared to any of the filters I've changed on mine. If you buy, get that checked/fixed before driving off the lot.

I installed the Mishimoto can at about 15,000 miles (car had 13,000 when I bought). I've now got 115,000 miles. I added a small ball valve on the bottom (there is a pipe plug you can remove) with a plastic line down below so that I can drain when I change oil. I replaced the bronze filter after...
OP, you should buy one. I don't have a tune. I added one with a drop in green filter and there is a big difference in drivability. The engine definitely reaches 6,500 quicker between 5,500 & 6,500. Other than the $160, there's no down side. I actually added the tube first with the Ford filter...

I see the Race Red 2015 used by Ford Performance Parts as a display car is for sale on eBay. Interestingly for me is my serial number is about 78 earlier.

110k on mine the last time I changed oil. My Misimoto catch can has been on since about 14k. I don't get a tablespoon out it each oil change. I have replaced the bronze/brass filter in it once at about 85k after it became plugged up.
