Well, i donāt see anyone posting that they received a scheduling email today and there was no production schedule update info on the Blue Oval forum this week. I guess thatās Fords answer to scheduling problems, just ignore them.
At least now I can understand those that got tired of waiting...
Thats because they still havenāt posted it, which in itself is a rarity at this stage. Just hoping we all get scheduled this Thursday. It could be because Nov is build out date why the schedule hasnāt been posted yet.
No rhyme or reason whatsoever. Thatās where transparency would help. Not sure about the meat on the bone therory though. Mine was 3% under invoice plus a $1000 order incentive from Ford. Thatās really the only thing keeping me from walking into a dealer and buying a stock unit. Wonāt find that...
I think the lack of transparency with the whole ordering system is the most frustrating part for me. Pretty easy to figure out how you got two scheduled pretty quickly. Your priority code 10 is the highest a dealer can assign to an order. Mine is a priority code 17 so I guess it is what it is...
Should have known if I started complaining it would do me no good! Just got the dreaded 45 day email from them.
āWe understand it has been too long since you last heard from us. Today, we wanted to give you an update on the status of your Mustang GT order.
Unfortunately, continued supply chain...
We should be so lucky. Unfortunately the Q&A is for questions on the new S650. I might submit one on it since it doesnāt even look like m going to get scheduled before the build out And I might then just wait for the new model to open its order bank. I hate to buy a vehicle that will almost be...
LOL. In retrospect it was a great deal. He bought it six years ago before anyone had heard of covid or chip shortages and can now still sell it for more than he paid, if he still owns it, I would say a super great deal.
Just read this article https://fordauthority.com/2022/08/here-is-every-2022-ford-impacted-by-the-wi-fi-hotspot-removal-update/
Dont know if it has any effect on many of us but I noticed when I changed colors about a month ago I got a new WBDO showing the 4G credit. I didnāt order originally...
Just found this article while researching dealers East of the Mississippi that will order a Mustang below invoice. Iāve got one on order with Chapman but I will say Iām not thrilled with their progress so far. But, this is a interesting short read...
Well, the one good thing about not getting scheduled yet is that at least now I will get to see the unveiling of the 2024 in September. Depending on how it really looks and if they plan to put the āalmost 500 hpā in the base GT or not, I may just wait for its release or worse case end up with a...
F&I Offices get a buy rate from ea lender. The last dealer i worked for would allow his finance managers to make up to three points on rate. Many dealer didnt cap their profit at all. Everything that comes out of the business office has some type of profit margin attached to it. From the...
GAP ins is nothing but a money maker for the dealer. The business manager also makes money on it. Basically the same for any add ons bought in the business office Such as extended warranties, L&D, protection packages, etc etc.
Probably has something to do with the purchase order and his retail financing. If the state he buys in wonāt pay the sales tax where he is going to register it, he will have to come up with the tax money when he registers it. So if his lender is requiring 10% down and the purchase order only...
LOL. Nobody here has said itās perfect but show us another in its class thatās better, that also has no ācommon problemsā. Dollar for dollar I think it provides the most bang for the buck out there by far.
My state doesnāt require one and I donāt particularly want to put a bracket on but one way or another my plate will be on the front of mine once it arrives. Iām proud of it. I earned it.
