  1. Just installed Ridetech coilovers, (squeak) question

I believe the default setup is ~300 front/400 rear. apex15stangPP or RidetechJosh can confirm. I would try 7 clicks from full firm front/rear and see if that helps. I know if I go any softer than 8-9 from full firm up front I get the squeak noises up front on bumps.
  2. Just installed Ridetech coilovers, (squeak) question

I had/have a similar issue, but only seems to occur when the rebound is cranked down below ~8 clicks or so. Anything higher than that and seems to disappear. What spring rates are you running?
  3. Steeda S550 Mustang Front Control Arm Bearing Kit Installed

How did you separate the ball joint from the spindle? I found the ball joint separators from my local auto parts stores (both Advanced and Auto Zone) were too short. BFH or pickle fork?
  4. Opg install, Whats all required?

I am using the pictorial thread on svtperformance ("MMR Billet Oil Pump Gear's Install. **A FEW PICS**") and have a question regarding setting up the timing to remove the chains. In that post it mentions 1. TURN OVER CRANKSHAFT UNTIL SLOTTED KEYWAY IS AT 12'O CLOCK POSITION then 2. VERIFY...
  5. GT350 intake w/o headers

I just had the AED tune and GT350 setup installed so haven't been to the track yet. I didn't request to have the rev-hang enabled so by default its not there. That being said, I don't believe the Livernois tune had rev-hang enabled either and it worked very well for me. Probably a personal...
  6. Installing APR Splitter without Belly Pan?

Get yourself a tool like this: https://www.amazon.com/Riveter-Riveting-Setting-System-M3-m12/dp/B00R1FYLWU/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1501694700&sr=8-7&keywords=rivnut+tool and some cobalt drill bits to get through the steel frame.. Once you drill out the holes, the tool presses a nice...
  7. Installing APR Splitter without Belly Pan?

Even with the splitter attached to the belly pan, the belly pan in itself does not provide much structual support. I would highly recommend installing several rivnuts into the radiator support/frame. I run 3 M8 rivnuts along each side of the frame and the splitter is very secure.
  8. GT350 intake w/o headers

Yes that is correct. Just a shortfall in the Livernois approach as their remote tunes can only support their in-house tested setups.
  9. GT350 intake w/o headers

I installed my GT350 IM/TB over the weekend and thought I'd share my experience. - Only other engine/power mods are a JLT (GT) CAI, Corsa Xtreme CB, Reische 170* tstat and (previously) Livernois 93 tune - Over the past 2 years I’ve been extremely satisfied with the Livernois tune - car ran...
  10. Livernois MyCal Tuner - SOLD

Selling the Livernois tuner, unmarried. Will need to pay the licensing fee to Livernois to mate to your vehicle. Tuner and both cables included - perfect condition. SOLD
  11. Anyone Successfully Ordered and Received GT350 IM (GR3Z-9424-C)?

I received mine from Autonation WBL on Wednesday. The box was beat to sh*t by UPS, but the intake appears intact and unharmed. This is a UPS issue with their handling, but also a Ford issue with their packaging. The intake is loosely placed in a huge box with two foam blocks wrapped around...
  12. GT350 intake w/o headers

I have the GT350 manifold/TB arriving next Wednesday and will also be going with AED's tune. I paid ~$780 shipped for the manifold/TB combo from Autonation WBL which i think is a great deal. Hopefully they are able to offer similar pricing on future batches.
  13. GT350 intake w/o headers

I just called Mike at WBL and placed my order for the intake. They have 3 (now 2) of these in stock ready to ship.
  14. Anyone put braided/stainless steel brake hoses on their S550?

If I were to do it again I'd go with Spiegler. AP Racing uses these lines in their kits, and they will also work on your Brembos. https://www.essexparts.com/my-vehicle/2015/Ford/Mustang/GT%20Performance%20Pack
  15. Anyone put braided/stainless steel brake hoses on their S550?

I have Goodridge lines as well and would not recommend them. The rear caliper connection shouldn't be an issue, but the front line where it connects to the bracket in the wheel well is a sh*t design. I would highly recommend securing this with a heavy duty zip-tie.
  16. Steeda S550 Mustang Steet/Track Suspension Package (15-17)

Looks really good. From what I understand, changing the rake will have little to no change on the static weight distribution of the car. Lowering the rear in relation to the front will decrease weight transfer across the rear axle, which should increase rear grip. Problem is, with the rear...
  17. Sold: Titanium Brake Shims - GT & GT350

For sale is a set of lightly used (3 track days) Girodisc titanium brake shims which will fit the GT performance pack Brembos and the GT350. I am selling as these did not clear the hardware on my new AP Racing rotors, however they will work perfectly with your factory rotors. These were $125...
  18. Transporting Wheels/Tires

I've packed my 18x10 Apex wheels with 275/40/18 in the car. One in the trunk, two stacked on top of eachother and one vertical on the folded down rear seat. Also had a large toolbox, jack, jackstands, helmet, HANS, duffel bag, canopy etc. all in the trunk. It was a very tight fit, but you can...
  19. Oil leak

Grimace427 completed my tech inspection this afternoon for an upcoming HPDE event and we found the same leak point. To secure the oil pressure sensor/sender unit you will need a 27mm deep socket, a universal joint adapter and ~10" extension. I found the sensor was very loose when removing...
