I went into transit and the EDD moved closer at the same time.

Same here. A few days after having my EDD pushed back a month, I'm now in transit and my EDD reverted back to where it was before.

I'm doing the same thing--looking, but not touching. Have you been tracking your car in transmit by calling the railroad and giving your VIN?

In talking to my dealer, they did not foresee that happening for the GT. I am leasing an Ecoboost however.

I'm no supply chain expert, but that reason makes no sense to me. Why would Ford BUILD a car, and then hold it on its factory lot because the dealer doesn't have an allocation. If that's truly the reason, then you would think Ford would delay actually building the vehicle until the dealer has...

Stock vs retail should have nothing to do with it if the cars have truly been built and are awaiting shipment.

Same here. Mine shows up has being built November 3 and as of yesterday it was awaiting shipment with an EDD of November 20. Woke up this morning and it was pushed back to an EDD of December 18. I'm only one state away from the plant, too.

About the only appearance mod I've seen that looks good is the color-match trunklid between the taillights (like the Gibson S550). I wish Ford would allow that as an option or put it standard on the Premium models rather than have the unpainted black plastic.

why would anyone want to make the S550 look like a Honda Element by putting unpainted plastic fenders on it?? Also, way too much going on in the back of that defenderworx model with the round logo and Mustang between the taillights. Why not throw a few pony and GT logos back there as well...

20 inch wheels make such a huge difference on the car. So glad I went with those.

That's a great idea. One Mustang in my area shows that it's still in transit even though I looked at on the dealer lot over a week ago.

My blend date was Nov. 1. I thought blend date meant the completion date?

I started production 10/25 (per COTUS) and am still in production as of today per COTUS. My dealer also said today that my order is "bucked" meaning that all the parts needed to complete the vehicle are on hand. Seems pretty slow for production...is Ford falling behind?

My dealer agreed to swap the summer tires off my 20" wheels in exchange for all-season tires and thought they could do an even exchange, plus a mounting and balancing fee. It was just something I negotiated with them.
