That's exactly what I'm doing. I've used it twice, same residue both times. Second time, tried using less wax and same problem.
I've even used it in the evening when the sun is pretty much down - same issue.
Not sure what to do other than try another wax.
I bought Meguiar's G18216 Ultimate Liquid Wax.
Problem I'm running into is the day after waxing, my car becomes covered in a yellow dust - I'm assuming wax residue.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Seems like I'm getting all of the wax wiped off, as I'm usually sweating my ass off...
I know the engine discussion is always going on around here and granted, there are plenty of ignorant people around these forums too, but for the most part, people here seem to get it.
Like I said, it all comes down to priorities and what you want - some people just don't understand that...
Nothing too bad, mostly compliments actually, but every now and then you get the stereotypical "car" idiot aka, one of my friends. Conversation went like this.
Him: You get the V8?
Me: Nah, V6
Him: Ohhhhhh myyyy godddd.....only the V6!?
Me: Yeah?
Him: Stick?
Me:.....no, automatic
Him: Wow, I'd...
Considered it immediately after I saw the redesign.
Also, just happened to be in the market for a new car. I was actually considering going the truck route this time around, but after looking at some of those and seeing what you get for the price, I decided I just didn't want to go that...
Yeah, that is pretty incredible. I paid more than that for my V6 even with A-Plan pricing.
Then again, I paid about the average price for a V6 according to TrueCar, so I wasn't complaining. Being from a more rural area, I also didn't have the luxury of having a Ford dealership on every...
Great writeup, but I'm curious - how in the hell did you manage to get the price down to $23k for an Ecoboost!? I gotta commend you for that one. I don't think I had the patience to finagle enough to work the price down that low.
I've had my Mustang for about two weeks now. Last week after washing and waxing the car, I noticed this paint issue on the top of the trunk.
It's tough to see in a picture, but where the trunk sort of curves towards the top, closest to the back windshield, the paint looks like it's fading or...
Nothing crazy, but definitely get some looks every now and then.
I stop at the same gas station pretty much every day after work on my way home. A guy was out there on his bike with his kids in front of the store. On my way out he asked me "how I liked my ride". Told him I was diggin' it and...
I get what you're saying. I just don't understand what you want done/what you expected to discuss here. The stitching is the way it is.
I get it. You don't like the faux stitching and that only part of it is "fixed" when you upgrade. What exactly do you want people to discuss here?
I...
How is this "something random"? I gave you a full list of reasons as to why the car is the way it is and what you can do to get a better interior (spend more money) and that the interior is actually quite nice for the price (comparison to Focus)
No, I'd say it's more like you haven't read...
Man, I sure am glad we have so many car designers and engineers on this website to weigh in their opinion! /s
Seriously, do people not understand that it's 2015 and you're buying a Ford? If you want more solid materials on the dash, and real leather throughout the car, in a...
Makes sense. I've never had to service a car this new.
Let us know how it goes. I'll probably try to stop in sometime next week to have it looked like. In the end, it's an issue that shouldn't be there on a car that's brand new.
Same issue with mine. Also replied in your other thread in the V6 forum.
I didn't notice the issue originally when I picked up the car about a week ago. After driving all week and putting about 500 miles on the car, I noticed the noise the other day. Once the car is warmed up, it seems to go...
I have this issue in mine.
Just got my Mustang last weekend, only about 500 miles on it right now. Didn't notice it at first, but noticed about two days right after starting up the car. Once it warms up, it seems to go away.
Thought about taking it in. What are people doing about this currently?
What kind of cost am I looking at if I were to take the car somewhere to have a custom exhaust installed?
I'm renting a house right now and honestly don't have the space or the tools to do this myself. If I order the part and take it somewhere, they would probably install it right?
Literally...
