Thanks for the input, everyone! Test drove a car today with the carbon dash and had no issues... loved the look! Weather permitting I'll be bringing it home tomorrow.
Any 19-20 owners with the exposed carbon fiber dash out there that regret it due to glare? I generally love carbon fiber trim but am a little concerned about glare being annoying with the gloss finish. I typically prefer a matte finish on carbon trim, like in my XC90, but even then the glare...
Most dealers here in the DC area are advertising cars at 5-8% discounts off MSRP. I know that sometimes these advertised prices are not accurate since they stack every possible incentive that you might qualify, but does a discount in that range seem reasonable on a 2019? Could I push for more...
I will reserve (complete) judgement until I see it in person... I suspect it will look better in different colors.
That said, I tried my best to recreate the design using only Camaro parts. ;)
Using ED price is misguided. Remember you have to pay to get there and back. Most people that go will make a vacation out of it. IMO, what you save on the car with ED, you spend on the vacation (and then some.)
Definitely the tires. You won't have any problem once it warms up.
It's too soon for you to have noises coming from the suspension. If it doesn't go away once it warms up then I'd be more concerned.
What was the temperature outside when this happened? If it was below 40* it could be the tires themselves. Summer compounds get really hard in cold weather and will literally skip over the pavement at sharp steering angles like that, causing a popping/vibration.
