Waiting. Not a fan of the current infotainment system and I promised myself after buying a 2009 Z and a 2011 5.0 that I'd never buy the first model year again.
I love the exterior of the S550 and really think it dates the S197. The only thing I wish the S550 had that the S197 does is a more dramatic front fender flare. The rear 3/4 view of the S550 looks very blunt and awkward, IMO.
To me, that's its only bad angle. I love everything else about it.
I like to run the widest possible tire for the rim that is still within the tire manufacturer's spec. I don't like trying to fit a big tire on a small rim because that can lead to poor handling characteristics if the sidewalls aren't able to work as intended.
These are the top 20 stock 370Z 1/4 mile times from the list we keep over on the 370Z forums:
STOCK WITH STREET TIRES
1) ssmoked ---------- 11 Base ----- 7AT 12.915 @ 106.93 mph 1.939 60ft - Michelin A/S 3

The 335i has an underrated 300 hp and 300 lb-ft. They are quick.
It will be a drivers race between you and the 370Z. They are not the easiest cars to get a good launch out of (especially a base model without LSD) so the 1/4 mile times are all over the map.
Isn't that always the case, though? We always think we are more important than we really are.
I don't disagree with a lot of what you are saying. I just don't think all hope is lost yet with BMW.
I think that's the difference. I just don't have the extensive E9X experience, so I'm not comparing it to one every time I drive. I'm not overly concerned about soul in a people mover, but I do find the chassis to be very well balanced and I can put the car wherever I want, steering with the...
I have not owned them but I do have some experience with them. No doubt they feel a little smaller and more direct, but I still find a lot of joy in driving my F30. I've had non M-Sport F30 loaners (both n20 and n55) and did not find them to be quite as enjoyable as my M-Sport, though...
I own a 2013 BMW 335i M-Sport and 2013 370Z. I am probably going to replace my 370Z with a Mustang later this year.
From what I can tell in terms of initial material quality, the GT Premium with 68B compares well to BMW. I don't think it is quite on the same level as my 3 series, but it...
Beautiful!
I narrowed my options down to the M235i, GT PP, or e92 M3. I am pretty sure I've decided to go with the GT PP, but I'm going to wait for Sync 3 on the 2016s. :ford:
