Thanks. What I don't understand then is why Ford went with a 9.5" wide wheel in the rear of the PP1 package. I think they did the same thing back a few years ago with the Boss Mustang.
The 275/40 19 tire can be mounted on wheels that range from 9" wide to 11" wide. So is a wheel that is 9.5" wide better suited for that tire than a wheel that is 10" wide?
If this was asked before I apologize. The center dash gauges in my 2018 GT PP1 are white during the day. At night these two gauges light up between medium and dark blue. Is there a way in mycolor to just change the lighting in the two center gauges without changing all the other lighting in the car?
I just put my snow tires on 4 new PP1 wheels. The first 2 wheels are original factory 19" x 9.5" wheels I bought from Ford dealer #1 to put in the front of my 2018 GT PP1. I also purchased 2 TPMS sensors from that dealer at the same time. The second wheels are American Muscle 19" x 10"...
Hi Cory,
The hubcentric 5mm spacers came from Paul at PK Auto Design. I understand they were specifically made for this application since I said I would be putting the original PP1 19" x 9.5" rear wheels on the front. I'm really pleased with the way fit the car. I have a 2018 GT with the...
Wow, the tire shop said they torqued the lugs at 80 ft lbs on just 4 lug nuts per wheel. They didn't want to go even that tight on the factory wheel locks. This could be a problem waiting to happen.
I know the spacers are hub centric.
Thanks
Maybe I'm missing the point. When I ordered my 2018 GT PP1 I could pay an extra fee (I think it was $875) for what looked liked special 5 star wheels for the PP1 package. Unfortunately, my car was never produced because of the magnetic ride option being no longer available on 2018's. As a...
Getting a slight vibration at 75 mph. Any thoughts on whether it's the wheels out of balance, out of alignment, or wider wheels on the front (19'x9.5") with 265/40 19's? Car is a 2018 GT with PP1 and magnetic suspension.
Thanks,
If you are thinking about all season tires on your PP2 this winter, consider 285/40-19 Michelin's Pilot Alpin PA4 N-Spec snow tires for the winter months. Tread width is 10.8" and the diameter is 27.9". A 305/35/-19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport summer tire is 27.4" in diameter and has a tread...
