I'm at 16 with AC and 17 without AC (not sure if this matters but I'm at altitude). This seems low? I did clean the MAF/MAS already, it's the same.

MAF clean completed - idle without AC is fine now. Vacuum seems low at 17? is that normal for these cars? With AC on every-time the compressor or fan click on the idle bounces and steadies and then again when it turns off. Maybe this is normal. Vacuum with AC on is 16 that seems super low too

So no codes, which is good. I sat idled without AC on and it seems fine. The car does shake ever so slightly not sure if that is normal. Grabbed a bottle of cleaner at parts store so doing MAF/MAS next

Finally picked up my new to me car today - 2017 GT base manual ruby red, 35K miles, still have 1,000 miles left of factory bumper to bumper warranty. I'm a little disappointed with the cosmetics - it needs some serious paint correction and touchup, much more so than I could tell from pictures...

RPM will fluctuate when the AC flicks on but not by 200rpm, thats nuts.

It's not that loud in stock form. For transmission do an MGW shifter to get that solid top-loader feeling, and you're set. I can't comment about traveling, but they are grand touring cars so they are quite comfortable in stock form.

Any comment on the effects of the high alcohol content on parts inside the car - fuel tank, lines, rail etc?

What's necessary for E85 on a 2017? Do I need injectors/fuel lines/rail and everything? Assuming for long term use... will things break down over time because of the alcohol?

I too have some significant paint imperfections, specifically, the bottom of the drivers side door has bubbling paint. I'm too scared to let someone from Ford re-touch or re-paint the panels. Too many things that can go wrong.
