Alright, so we're back at squarish one. Test and tune went pretty badly. I did end up trapping faster (122) but still couldn't break out of the 12s. It is absolutely just dying when getting launched (boost seems to agree)
So my boost gauge FINALLY showed up and got it installed. Definitely have...
Well, turns out we have a test and tune tonight as well, even though they never put it on the schedule. Ended up making a few changes.
- Retightened everything, there was a decent bit that could be had on intake-TB coupler.
- Rerouted the cross coolant tube, it was run over the TB, and was...
From what I'm finding, most of them have stopped offering them outside of LTH and Kooks. Guessing due to EPA stuff as of the last few years. The guy I used to go to also won't touch headers any longer since the COVID EPA stuff that went down.
😂 this is one my list, but trying to find a place to do them around here has proven difficult. Catted possibly, catless? Gonna be a struggle.
Was possibly thinking of going with SW, it looks like their cat isn't welded, could just get a 3 inch pipe in the right length, but have the shop...
Oh I definitely know something is up haha that's why I was trying to figure out the path of diagnosing.
So tuner replied after sending a follow up back. He actually now agrees, no way it should be matching an NA coyote. He said they can see 7 lbs of boost (Should be ~11), but he said it could...
Un
Unfortunately, we don't get good prep on test and tune nights lol. The pro cars with radials were posting some atrocious times as well.
Absolutely understand the 60, it just comes with the territory at the strip with our unsanctioned events. Also, Tremec, not A10 for me. I'm not expecting a...
Trying to get a follow up from my tuner, I know it's definitely off. I have an NA car running better times than my blower car. The car pulls like an NA car.
Just switched to this tuner, after a nearly unanimous list of suggestions to go to him.
I thought the same, but he says everything looks great, the timeslip is completely normal.
My '20 E85 NA MT82 car on a much worse tire runs a better time than my VMP Odin Mach 1. 11.8 vs 12.2.
Factory Cats, x pipe.
All Stock Odin gear.
3.5 pulley, with stock belt (but new. just replaced) and the new tensioner. I believe the kit comes with 1000's? I didn't do the install. It's on 93.
I haven't had it on a dyno personally, the car is new to me. Only thing I do have is time slips and runs against a bone...
So I did do a log, but I haven't found a way with the Avid tuner to be able to view my own logs. I've messed around quite a bit with it, and only allows (it seems) to be able to send log to tuner. The log has been sent, just waiting on a response. Figured I'd ask and see if there's some easy...
So just a bit of a sanity check while waiting to hear back from tuner.
Newer tune, as well as new car to me, but said everything looked good outside of a first cold start almost always dies.
Had some registration issues and couldn't drive the car. Had to change out the whole front pulley...
Nothing that stands out, the mach 1 grille doesn't really have a good way to open it any additional.
At this point between the forums and Facebook sounds like this is definitely not original, so probably going to just remove it and see what happens. I have all new pulleys and belt going on, as...
Just curious on anyone's take who has the Odin kit, or at least the VMP intake. Currently working on the car so figured I'd ask. I can find exactly ZERO mention of it, even from VMP where it's even mentioned to not touch or remove it.
Has anyone removed or trimmed the foam down for better air...
