Oh also did notice my factory flex pipe from the passenger side Cat sounds like a fucking salt shaker when I hit it with just my hand. Could that be it?
Well shit thatās concerning that Iām only seeing the knock on one tune then. Perhaps too spicy of a tune and the car is pulling timing after shift for the shift tourque reduction? I canāt see how E85 can knock falsely through a tune though?
I actually loaded up my old Lund tune that calls for 30.5 degrees of timing instead of 32.X by tricky. Noticed the car isnāt seeing positive knock in that tune BUT is still adding less timing after the shift if that makes sense? Car will go from. 30.5* to 28-29* then back up. Like itās still...
Hey man Iām still chasing this issue I was wondering what your logs looked like when you had knock? Like how much knock were you seeing and for how long? Iām seeing between 0.5-MAX 1.75 degrees of knock. Am getting very concerned it may be real
The best test I did was running the car at WOT at the RPM it would knock when shifting but only staying in one gear and no knock occurred. He didnāt suggest turning them down though I asked personally
Gotcha thatās why I think itās false as my car is a 6r80 car and shifts HARD as the transmissions do. If I do the same pull at the RPM it knocks after shift I get no knock. Itās ONLY 2-3
Damn man thatās very unfortunate Iām sorry, do you think mine could even be real knock though? On single gear pulls the car is absolutely perfect, no knock at all, Iām on E80. The shift is the only thing that was causing knock and it was only for a few hundred RPM then it would add timing again
So im wondering what the normal timing for E85 is? my car is on a E85 tune by Tricky and is seeing 30-32.3 degrees of timing at Wot. Is that normal? Also the fuel is tested at E80
