here we go...
it's not exactly deck cargo, so what's the boat go to do with it?
Ford Focus / Mondeo all arrive by boat, no black shit under them
Toyota, Mazda. Merc, BMW the list goes on, no black sht under than like this.
in the EU ist about rust prevention for driving on salt...
can understand the need in the EU but mate, the exhaust does not need all of that black shit sprayed all over it, what a friken mess!
come on Ford...us in NZ don't need this black shit all over the underbody
I am maybe just a safety freak, but I would be disconnecting battery and removing SRS fuses before going near the SRS sensors.
just imagine all air bags deploying in the car, thats a big oops.
it's enough to give me the shits LOL
yeah those SRS / Airbag systems are really painful, it's probably thinking there is a fault after disconnecting the sensors would be my pick. its a 5 minute job to clear the air bag light with the right OBD scanner. On Older BMW there is a small plug in module that can reset air bag and service...
perhaps the battery needs to be disconnected before taking off the bumper?
reset the airbag light on other cars is normally a plug into the OBD port with diagnostic tool.
I wonder if thats that problem with the arm that loads the seats into the car (thought that issue should have been resolved) or someone getting in and out during transport, I will be looking hard at my seats now, if they are ripped I will be going off like a firework on the forecourt.
just checked the POA site again, its due in Auckland 0500hrs on the 3rd June departing 2200hrs so a bit behind schedule, I think it was longer in Savannah and then missed its slot at the Panama Canal so expect a bit of a delay in getting to Aussie
no e-mail sent to me, but i can see the ship will be late into Auckland, was the 1st then the 2nd now possibly the 3rd June depending on where you look. 2W site says the 3rd but Ports of Auckland site says 2nd. its only in Auckland for a day then heading over the ditch.
I hope your right, just when I was thinking Ford has its act together with global platform products (with the exception of closing Ford production in Australia) god help us if we see US production shift to Mexico or Thailand.
