I'd like to do this mod on my car. Curious to see how heavy the stock resonators are.

I'm still undecided between removing the resonators and replacing it with a piece of straight stainless pipe or to install the Corsa Xpip. How do you like the sound without the resonators? Any drone or added vibrations? Thanks, Rob

Providing we're talking about the Corsa XPipe, I believe it may be only two cuts, which would take place behind the resonators. In front of the resonators, the factory xpipe looks like it has a joint clamp.

I think it looks cleaner and possibly have slight less raspiness to the setup as opossed to cutting in a straight picece of pipe.

I wonder if there is difference in sound between the Corsa xpipe vs having stainless sections welded in.

I'm in the same boat as you. Although another consideration would be to just have the resonators cut out. How would that sound compare to the Corsa? I'm probably leaning towards Corsa. From the little I've heard so far from sound clips, I like it better. Plus sometimes when running O/R pipes...

When I called them that afternoon, the GM said he already spoke with corporate and the owner of the dealership. So, no conference call occurred. He said they now couldn't offer me anything but they would take back my car. I opted to keep the 16.

I would tell the dealer to not touch the car, even to wipe off dust. If the car has stripes, they may scratch them, the spoiler or trunk lid.

I looked into the Hellion as well. Still on the fence between that or a supercharger.

I found a few 2017's with the electronics package for msrp. The color of both cars are black. Pm me if your interested. You can then have the car shipped to you.

I see you're in the NYC area. Which installer did you use? And did you go with Expel or Suntek? Also, did you go with a ceramic coating? If so, which one? Sorry for all the questions, mines going in next week and I want to make sure I'm choosing it right. Thanks, Rob
