I'd take it to Racer's Edge if I were you. It's better to get a dyno tune rather than a canned tune. Canned tunes are generic, and may require, not always data logging. I feel you'll get more out of a dyno tune, meaning more tailored for your engine.

As long as you leave the cats in place, you'll be fine with your CA inspection. Did you get it on the dyno?

Might be best to go to a powder coating shop and see if they can do a custom mix and make AG for you. What were you interested in having done, wheels or calipers?

I has the same smell with mine when it was delivered with 11 miles on the car. I believe it's common, could be some coating that's used on the engine or exhaust burning off. Needless to say, mine went away after a few miles.
