  1. 2018 GT engine rattle.

LOL, yeah mine definitely isn't. Mine sounds like the video BladeGT just posted, but if I turn my radio on, I can't hear it. So if I listen for it, I can hear it, but that's about it, it's easily masked.
  2. For those who installed your catbacks yourself...how bad was it on jackstands?

Yes, several times. It's easy, if a bit of a pain. I actually put my stands where the IRS mounts to the frame, because the bracing there helps to capture the jack stand...making it more difficult for the car to slide off. I also keep the jack in place as a safety measure. But in any case...
  3. 2018 GT engine rattle.

So I think the guys with the 15-17's that have a rattle probably have an issue. Some of the 18's do too obviously, but by and large I think what most of us are hearing is normal. I've tried, and tried, and tried to get my phone/gopro and amazon "action cam" to pick the noise up to post a video...
  4. 2018 GT engine rattle.

So ran across this video: [ame] Check it around the 15 minute mark. Apparently low load/low RPM the car uses the port injectors. Then it blends before going all DI. I'm betting we are all hearing that rattle during the blend period.
  5. How many have now upgraded from a 2015-2017 to a 2018/19?

Well at least I recognized the SN, lol. I joined SVTP when I got my first terminator back in 2004. That said, you missed out, but more because your relatively local and MACA was badass back in the day. As for the car...eh, the cobras were cool but the S550 is a nicer car in every way. Both...
  6. 2015-17 Catback to 2018... Tips?

Solo sells tips too depending on where your current outlet lines up and how you need to attach it. They look different too, they aren't slash cut like the Corsa's (or stock), they are straight cut like the GT350 valence.
  7. How many have now upgraded from a 2015-2017 to a 2018/19?

Wait...haven't you been over on SVTP for years? I thought you had a cobra. Anyway, on topic; I went from a 2016 GT Premium PP Manual car with Nav, Premier interior, Security and backup assist to a 2018 GT Premium PP Manual with 401a, and the Security package. So nearly an apples to...
  8. 2015-17 Catback to 2018... Tips?

Nope, direct swap. Now the Solo setup lets you adjust your tips independently of the rest of the exhaust, and I did have to tweak those a bit (up maybe 1/4") so you'll likely have to loosen up your clamps and adjust things a touch to look good in the new valance. Aside from that though, the...
  9. 2018 Mustang GT oil leak

lol. They definitely forgot to put the whipple back on. I'll go complain about that.
  10. 2015-17 Catback to 2018... Tips?

I did this, worked fine. I took my Solo Mach XV off of my 16 GT, traded it in, bought an 18GT, ordered new tips, and bolted it back up. Fits perfect.
  11. 2018 Mustang GT oil leak

Yeah, i forgot to check those, I have the procedure on my laptop thanks to another member here. It's been 500 miles or so now though, and the steering feels fine, so I'd be surprised if they forgot something. I have friends that work at the dealership where I took it, and they all suggested...
  12. 2018 Mustang GT oil leak

I'm actually glad they didn't. yeah exactly. I prefer my car swirl free, or as swirl free as I can keep it as it's my DD.
  13. 2018 GT low rpm engine rattle, cylinder damage pics, Ford buyback process

I doubt that'll do much honestly. Unless there is a reasonable risk of a catastrophic engine failure while driving, premature engine wear isn't exactly a safety problem.
  14. 2018 Mustang GT oil leak

Mine was soaked on the bottom and leaving spots all over the driveway. So sounds like your fine. Mine is still good 500 miles later.
  15. 2018 GT engine rattle.

Entry drug. lol. I never really liked my ST all that much really. I'd traded my 2011 Brembo 5.0 for it when my daughter was born. As soon as she turned 3 and could be safely sat facing forward I went out and got a 16GT, and now the 18. The ST was a really nice little car, but the FWD drove...
  16. 2018 GT engine rattle.

That was my first thought, but when I asked my dealer they said mine was something in the clutch/trans, and that others on the lot did it too...so it was deemed normal. I still think it is probably DI related myself though. My ST sounded like this too, which is why the noise hasn't bugged me...
  17. Broken Valve/ Motor Blown

Sorry man, that sucks. Hopefully your new one is trouble free, and this all just makes for a good car show story in a few years.
  18. Axle Oil Temperature Warning

Except I believe the manual specs 5w-30 for track use. But still.
  19. Broken Valve/ Motor Blown

That's basically what I did. I think it also specifically asks you not to use cruise, or at least I remember it saying that. I took mine on a 400 mile road trip week two, but I varied my speed all the time (which I'm sure drove people behind me crazy) and would occasionally switch between 5th...
