Actually, that picture is interesting, as that would indicate there are 3 harnesses here. If each muffler has it's own then they must connect into one that joins those two at the body harness. Interesting that Ford would appear to have done that.
Oh man, I'm all over this. I'll call ford tomorrow, see if I can find out the info on that harness and the valves. I have a friend in the parts department.
I knew I should have bought in St. Mary's. Crap.
Let me know how you like the Hydrosilex. I'm going to coat my wifes entire car before we hit the beach with it this summer. I'll get about 3/4 of it after it gets back from the body shop this weekend if the weather holds.
I could have, but they were part of an additional package that also included BLIS, and I think adaptive cruise and that emergency braking (safe and smart I think it is?). All 401a included was the cluster, Nav and the upgraded seat leather/center console.
My 16GT Premium with the Premier...
I just tried a little bit of this stuff on the hood of my wifes car. I don't have time to fuss with it much, so something easy is best for that thing. I did some light paint correction on her hood, then applied it dry. It's been two weeks, and it's still VERY slick.
At the same time, I put...
Mine rattles. You have to turn off the radio and listen to hear it though. One of these days I'll have an evening free where I can shove a bore scope down the spark plug hole and have a look. The dealer told me mine was normal when I had it in for my oil pan leak.
It hasn't gotten any worse...
You guys are about 2 hours from me. I have a 2018GT PP....might be interested since you offered up a rental. My car is my DD, so I'd need that.
Edit; PM Sent.
The only think on the 19's 401a that I would have really appreciated on the 18 is the memory seat option. My wife likes to drive mine now and then, and getting my seat back where I like it is a pain. No reason that shouldn't be a standard option on the premium cars, yet alone 401a.
Blis is...
I'd say the base GT IS the 5.0 LX of today. Same underpinnings as the GT, just less stuff.
I do love foxes though, I've had a 92GT for the last 19 years, and my first car before that was an 88GT.
I have mine set around 7200 to give me time to react to the bing before I hit redline. I played around with the various shift lights, and the one where the lights creep towards center is probably what I'll use when I autox since it's easy to see how close you are to redline without looking down.
That really sucks, but it might be the dealerships fault. I know when I traded in my 16GT for my 18, the dealer didn't pay off my old loan for a couple of weeks. In that time, I'd actually had to make a payment on the old loan because that timespan covered when a payment was due...so I had to...
That could be dirt or a ring Burr. The top of the stroke will tell more. If there is an arch in the mark at the top of the stroke, that would be more telling.
Oh, and I also owe my wife a thanks for putting up with me getting this thing. She wants one of the new jl Wranglers, so I suspect that'll be our next purchase before too long.
She drives my car on occasion too, but not very often. I think she's afraid shell scratch it, even though she helps...
Mines Ruby, but I doubt there are many white pp2 18s rolling around Laplata so I'd be willing to bet it was your car. I didnt catch who was driving though. Haven't seen a crimson one yet, but I know there are a couple in the area because they post up on the southern md mustangs fb group.
