    Yep...you need to program your ACM (the CD player) and maybe the APIM (Sync module) if you got it from a car that's not a Mustang

    This is what I meant, so the front one would be disconnected in case anyone uses the hub with the double port (single mini USB connector)

    The front USB is NOT connected to the APIM, if you pull your dash apart you'll find that there's ONLY 1 USB cable connected to it. (2016 cars) The front USB port is simply connected to the hub in the armrest

    I don't think you need to wire/splice any cables....you can just use a USB A male to USB mini male to connect the new hub

    Pretty straight forward you just need to pull the usb hub in your armrest, unplug it and plug the new one instead (I assume) and put it back in place
