Thats why on my modded Cat I run the 305 NT555Rs on the street. Very little if any sway with those on 20 inch wheels. Of course I run wider (11inch) forged wheels to not the factory 20x9.5s. The ET Street Rs I usually only use at the track but sometimes on the street depending on the occasion...
Not that I saw and I have no experience with that tire. Worth a try I'd say. I always run ET Street R's at 16PSI to start and then add pressure as track conditions allow. Why waste a pass spinning with to much air in the tire? That never made sense to me.
Seems lots of guys are swearing by...
This is interesting. The GT500 has consistently higher trap speeds but it won't 60ft as well which will be the death of it in the 1/4 mile. I think the why of it not 60ft'ing hard has already been beaten to death. Prep, tire, and driver will matter a lot. Apparently the Redeye's best pass of...
I volunteer as tribute!!! Dodge fan check....dos hellgatos. Road course fan and drives them..check. Professional driver.....meh....I do fly airplanes for a living and I have been to a racing school. Professional pilot close enough? No bias, I want both cars. I'm ready!
Liquid sunshine!!! Hahahaha I love it! Good for you my dude. I like your style. Snow on the ground to me means....MOVE! Nobody should drive in that terrible substance. Bad enough I have to fly into it and deice all the damn time.
That being said Cup 2s are pretty temperature sensitive. Below...
DD as long as it's good weather isn't a DD. I DD a Charger Hellcat....every day. Rain, shine, no matter what. That is a DD. A fair weather only car is what I keep in my other garage.
That is actually a great point. The base is the far better daily in either model. The only reason to buy the CFTP is you track it or you want to be the cool kid at cars and coffee.
I've driven one. I think all the complaining about the suspension is overstated personally. Is it a 1970...
You can buy painters tape in different colors..... I prefer the green. My black Hellcat has full PPF and Ceramic coating. I still use the tape. Know why? I peel of the tape in two seconds along with all the rubber as opposed to scrubbing it off with soap and water. And it's easy to miss small...
Not surprised at all but then I've regularly road coursed Hellcats. Every time I've been the most common thing I hear from other car owners is....." I didn't think a Hellcat could do that". I always say "don't believe everything you see on the internet the big girl can turn....tell all your...
Sure seem to be a lot of Gt500 giveaways. This one, Stangmode, Shelby American. Anybody wonder if that colors the choice at the end? Don't get me wrong. If they were giving me one of the three I'd choose the Shelby as well but not for reasons having anything to do with tenths of seconds...
This is a good point but I'd take a step further. Modern cars are so good that very few people posses the means, the funding or the skill to drive them around a road course anywhere near the limit. Any of the three at the limit on the street is suicidal for you and definitely irresponsible for...
I can confirm these fit perfectly in a 19 GT350 (mine) and an 18 GT350 (bought em' for my buddies for Xmas).

Awesome quality and they look phenomenal.
If you like white w/ blue stripes I know where one is for 10k over. 15K over on the sticker but saw it in person and talked to sales manager personally 2 days ago. It's in SC at Dick Smith Ford.....yes that's really the dealer name. Sales Manager is Lee, Salesman I talked to was Mathew...
Hmmm. I don’t see it that way. Nothing on the internet is personal to me. Just a discussion about cars. Comparing and contrasting all aspects of different brands is part of it. Good, bad or indifferent. I’m on other forums . Trust me there is equal amount of GT500 talk goin on there but people...
Hahahahaha. I'm not telling anybody what to do. You shouldn't buy a race focused car with DSSV if you want ride quality seems like common sense advice to me. Pointing out the ride as a detractor seems silly when it's designed to own race tracks and it does it quite well. I've alway said the...
This thread got funny fast. Anybody who complains about ride quality in a car designed to destroy race tracks shouldn't be buying one. What next? It's to loud? The acceleration is to scary? At least your are driving a "Shelby" and Carol was right about you. You don't want a race car.....you...
Went and looked at the white GT500 today. Pictures made it look Oxford white w/black stripes but the stripes were actually blue. Honestly it was meh....... The GT350 is hands down a better looking car. They had 2 GT350Rs and a GT350 base right next to it. Maybe the color combo wasn't doing...
Starting to pop at dealers. Seen a couple with 5k ADM. Going to look at white w/black stripes tomorrow AM. Dealer is 15 miles from me. They want 15k ADM but I want to finally see it in person. Good to see multiples available at dealers for sale.
