Yeah, believe they still have the central resonator so not much else they can do. The GT in track mode sounds pretty fantastic anyway.

Anyone heard one of these? Be interesting to see how they compare to the GT with active exhaust.

At the moment the dealer i bought the car from are in talks with the ford garage and it looks like they have confirmed its a known issue and will be replacing it with a new boot under warranty. They also checked the aluminium panels but there are no issues there. Need 100% confirmation but...

The supplying garage are taking it up with ford, if that doesnt work out, which it really ought to, they will get it sorted at their own bodyshop.

I have noticed when i push in the clutch its very smooth over the first 80% of the travel, then it hits a little point of resitance, the final 20% feels rougher, like its rubbing on something. You can hear it if you press the clutch with the engine off, its not loud by any stretch, but its not...

The servicing garage have now confirmed via email this was carried out at the required point in time, they just didnt bother to stamp the booklet.....

Well so far ive been given the run around by 2 ford garages..... The servicing dealer did however confirm in writing that the body and paintwork check was carried out as part of the second service, so thats a positive at least. I can see this is going to be painful....

Fingers crossed! The car is such an event and ive had more positive comment in the last week than in my previous 14yrs of driving. This does sour the experience though.... Ironically the rest of the paintwork is in fantasic shape.

It doesnt exactly have a warranty from the garage. The warranty they provide (rac) doesnt kick in until after the ford warranty expires. Its more the fact that its been sold as pristine and clearly its not...

Agreed that the paintwork thing is a con. I was looking at the place this car was serviced and there isnt even an option to tick for the body/paint inspection. I am torn between taking it to ford and trying to get them to sort under warranty and taking it back to the dealer i bought it from and...

Where are these stamps supposed to be located? Nevermind i can see the pages... All i have is the 3 stamps for the 3 services, the rest of the book is blank.

Ive only had it a week... Its was new in June 18.

While thats true of hood/fenders i believe the boot is 100% steel. Where did you get it sorted if you dont mind me asking?
