Ha, get yours installed and let me know! Have you gone steeda? I do wonder how our active exhaust compares to the US marker version with the gpf fitted. Its certainly not quiet as is.
  2. Considering H-Pipe + Active Exhaust

Considering installing an h-pipe on my mustang. Currently i have the active exhaust which sounds pretty fantastic stock. Id love to add a bit more volume but dont want to ruin it. Clearly dont want it to be droney when on the motorway etc. I drive with the exhaust in track 99% of the time...

  7. Boot lid seam corrosion/rust help

No... No it does not. Then again it doesnt look like that anywhere on my car. Also thats covering like 5% of the seam. Seems a bit pointless.

  14. Boot lid seam corrosion/rust help

Car is going in today.... Wish me look Had a chat with the bodyshop manager and the idea is to just spray the boot. If getting a perfect match isnt possible they will have to blend into the rear quarters. In that case they will clear coat the entire panel. Fingers crossed they get the boot...
  15. Boot lid seam corrosion/rust help

Whilst that is surely a bit annoying I wouldn't be bothered enough to take it to a dealer.
  16. Boot lid seam corrosion/rust help

At least i have it back for the weekend! Courtesy car was a cupra R, and whilst very capable it just not a 5L muscle car!
  17. Boot lid seam corrosion/rust help

Totally agree in theory BUT if i tell them not to blend and the match is poor they are going to turn around and say "well you told us not to blend it". If i let them do the job and its a bad job its on them.
  18. Boot lid seam corrosion/rust help

Noted. I will check im happy with it and will be complaining if im not! With it being a non metallic and the paintwork being in really good shape i would hope the match was bang on anyway, but i will leave it to them and wont be having it back until its perfect.
