They look exactly the same to me.
Just like the GT350 replicas that are sold by several vendors they are probably the same wheel with different finishes.
I bought my car used with the Steeda jacking rails and IRS braces already installed.
The rails work great but fall more than slightly below the pinch welds. I'd say they hang down about 1/2" below the pinch welds.
This wasn't a concern before but now that I'm going to lower the car I am...
Are there any photos of the bushings that need to be re-clocked?
There was mention of some photos of the parts but I did not see anything in this thread.
Thanks
I just received my set of regular guards to install and have a couple questions:
The instructions I received are not the one's posted by the OP. They say to apply the tape to the fender edge but my guards came with the tape applied. Should I remove the tape, clean the area as noted in some of...
Does anyone know if the SP089/SP082 combo on a base GT will be able to get by without C/C plates or camber adjusters while I'm on the stock struts?
I'm just looking to get it to normal street driving specs. as I probably won't toss new struts on until I can get some PP take-offs in the future...
I agree about trap speed.
Run it down the 1/4 and get an average MPH over a few runs.
Take the MPH, car weight, and use whatever the % loss is to the wheels with your transmission and you'll get a much better idea of what RWHP you are working with.
I verified these weren't the Indy 500 wide ovals from the seller and bought them off e-bay.
I received them and they are the Firehawk Indy 500 tires I wanted in 275/40/19. They were manufactured 11/16.
I am happy I got what I wanted as Tirerack told me 2-3 months for restock and my local...
FYI...
I used the coupon code: 14fbookcode today at checkout that was given in an older post that worked and it was good for 6% off on some wheels which was nice.
I'm guessing the AM rep. is no longer on this board as you can see by lack of responses from them in many months.
I have the Ford Performance by Borla touring whatever cat-back system the original owner put on.
It does not drone; but it's a bit raspy for my taste due to the X-pipe in it.
I would much prefer an H-pipe sound as that is what reminds me more of my fox body cars.
Can anyone tell me any potential issues if I buy a set of Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires that are 4 years old?
I found a source online for the size I want that said they are brand new but might be up to 4 years old.
I'm not sure if that is OK or whether or not the tire compounds were...
They must be a write off for another business; they are terrible at the marketing and business side of things.
They were out of two different sizes of Indy 500 tires I was looking at, everywhere online and local, with only a TBD for another batch to be made. In the beginning of a long driving...
I think those tire sizes will both look stretched a bit much on the front and back.
I'd go with 285/35 front and 305/35 rear with those sizes.
If you want a square set-up you might want to return the 11" for 10" and maybe run 285/35 or 275/40 all around.
I'm not sure what is going on in this thread?
Someone replied to a 3 year old post with some mods listed and no time.
Then the replies after are mixed responses to the 3 year old posts and to the person who bumped this up.
Nice looking wheels.
The description is cringe worthy though...:D
