Does it take that long for an EcoBoost now?
From what I believe, early deliveries of EcoBoosts were suppose to be quicker, due to special component supply issue for the RHD GT versions, so some later RHD EcoBoost orders took a lot of early GT places due to this,
mine did, ordered March 2015...
Ford Australia officially sold the Mustang as 65 & 66 versions in limited numbers, that were converted to RHD by Ford Australia and sold through the dealer network with factory warranty.
They did this again in 2000 & 2001 (Cobra version) in limited numbers through Tickford (Ford Australia's...
Photo of page from my owners manual, from my Australian delivered Mustang, page 98, under the title "fuel quality".
Mine is an EcoBoost, however I don't think Ford would go to the extra expense to have 2 different owners manuals (GT & EcoBoost) for Australian delivered Mustangs at the time, as...
Cheers , Falcons are just about every where over here, They would look pretty unique on the streets in the North America. Just like the Mustangs have been over here.
I'm jealous at the stuff you guys can access, F trucks for example
My Australian Ford Mustang, shares the garage area with my sons 2012 Ford Falcon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Falcon_(FG)

With regards to the South African Mustangs.
They are RHD (right hand drive), not LHD (left hand drive).
In Australia and New Zealand, the RHD Mustangs have there indicator stalk on the right side of the steering column,
In the U.K. I believe the RHD Mustangs have the indicator stalk on the...
By doing something stupid like parking the car and leaving the motor running while parked for an hour or 2 would do it;)
Agreed, I have hardly ever seen mine go over 10L/100km, resetting trip computers and giving it a bit on the odd occasion, :D
Maybe next time you are driving both, see if you can get some times to compare with this test ;).
I understand the V8 will have a better "feeling" for acceleration with the sound, but you have to admit these times are close. Maybe Miss Daisy was driving here as well :)...

To the uniformed, the ecoboost does have some grunt :D.
Surprising how close the times are in this comparison though:eyebulge:
................EB Auto.. V8 Man.
0-60km/h; 2.9secs..3.0secs.
0-80km/h; 4.3s .......4.5s
0-100km/h; 6.1s...... 5.8s...
Would I be correct to assume, those who ordered Mustangs post December 2015 ( http://www.carsguide.com.au/car-news/ford-mustang-gets-price-hike-after-2016-sellout-37293 ) with the price increase, will be receiving the MY17 Mustang?
Those who ordered with the price increase and receive a MY16...
Your info maybe correct, I should read my own link properly before commenting,
As stated in Link - In June, 2016, production of Mustang will roll over to 2017MY
According to this http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11450009 on AFF, Sync 3 will be on the MY17 Ford Mustangs entering Australia, MY17 build starts in August or September 2016 I think?
I am guessing, any RHD Mustang, with indicators on the right hand side of the steering column (remember the U.K. version RHD is on the left) will have the line lock option removed.
What version did the South Africans get?
the other day I parked my EB at the local shopping centre, on my return I discover another one next to mine , its a GT sold through the Emerald Ford dealership going by the number plates.
This photo is in Rockhampton in Queensland, as far as I know (not counting this one), there is...
Alternatively, if you can find a good storage location, the FG Falcon Ute jack kit is a different shape, still has the same tools as the sedan kit. Photo of all 3 together, FG ute, FG Sedan & Mustang kits,
Ute kit size is approx. 54cm long, 12cm high, 20cm wide

Just a video, no mention of what transmissions were in either car.
That is still a cheaper option than the one Ford is offering for EcoBoost owners http://www.ford.com.au/cars/mustang/accessories/safety#overlay=11788464285891249133789737
RRP $1157.
Standard FG Falcon jack works on these as well ;)
