Definitely could be that it’s expansion, but these pads also just don’t make noise when they’re totally cold. Once they get up to a little bit of temp they squeal when braking too I’ll try to figure out how to check the parking brake, thanks. Think it’s possible a slightly bent lug stud could...

missed your reply until today. I have a non-pp so can’t run those OEM ones without a brake upgrade. have been looking for something that’s reasonable for daily driving but can handle light track use and it’s like searching for a unicorn lol

Wow, really that easy? I hate to admit it but I’ve never changed brake pads myself. Planning to try it out when I decide on new ones. why leave the ones in the rear - just because of the brake bias and less force on the rear?

Thank you very much for the detailed feedback. My goal for now is just becoming a better driver and having some fun on track, not worried about setting lap records. If anything, I’d save the competition for auto/track cross. My budget is also limited… especially heading into ski season, haha...

Yeah being able to street them is key for me. I daily this car and I only would do a couple full on track day, non autocross days a year I’m guessing

Ok thanks. I’ve got the 4 piston fronts. I have whatever rotors are stock from the factory - I am new to this whole light track use thing. Do I need to change rotors?
