Could you tell me where on the quarter rear panel you put felt. I read another forum thread and tried fixing it by putting felt on the clips, but I still hear the glass thumping noise from back there?

Thanks for the help! I'm taking it in next week to the dealer and hopefully they believe me and replace the grille, without having to take the whole dash apart.:confused:

Do you think the dealership will have a problem with me when they have to remove the ac vents dash since I put felt on the clips to silence it and now its more snug?

Has anyone removed the center dash speaker grill. Do you have to remove the ac vents dash to remove it?

I don't know if you would call this a "popping" sound, but I hear it when driving and I noticed when I put pressure on the edge of these two panels on the the dash, it makes the same sound as I hear when I'm driving. Anybody know if this is normal or how I could fix it? Here's a link to a clip-

Thanks for the instructions. It was a lot of work but I was able to get it done. Though I still hear the popping noise. I noticed that my dash makes the noise when I put pressure on it. Here's a link: [ame] So hopefully I can find a fix.

Is there a bolt on the right side, to the remove the rings? Also, do you have to remove the whole right dash with the ac vents to remove the cluster?

Did you use some instructions or pictures to take this apart? I just don't want to mess up taking it apart.
