Has anyone removed the center dash speaker grill. Do you have to remove the ac vents dash to remove it?

Believe so. Start to the far right (sitting in the car) and start ripping things off.

Having done this 2 or 3 times to install a radio upgrade, yes.

As OP said, begin either at far right of car (passenger side) or left side just above and to left of center console to remove the one large dash section with vents.

Then you'll be able to pry up the center section for the center dash speaker.

Watch the first few minutes of this video then, after long piece of dash is removed, you will be able to pry up center section over speaker.

NOTE: in the video, it looks super easy to remove the long dash section, you will need to use some force. Take your time and go slow, work from one side to the other and you'll be fine.
