Tried the rear/console port and worked fine. It does show 232 songs but also groups them based on genre, artist, album etc so a decent system. Tuned in a couple local FM rock stations as well. I won't miss Sirius at all for those few times I need tunes. This did not seem to work in v1 but v3...
Ok. I'm gonna Fat32 a USB and just load a bunch of songs (vs folders) and see what it does. I'll try today. Thanks everyone for the info. Also MP3 only- no FLAC etc. 2 Gig should be plenty to start. I canned Sirius. The exhaust note is typically my music. But BTO is nice for those "Highway...
So I tried a basic file structure with MP3s earlier and no go. (version1) The manual speaks to plugging in my phone or a "device". Can I just plug a USB FAT32 into the USB port with MP3s and the unit will recognize the files now that I have upgraded to Version 3? Manual was not specific that...
I would advise- choose a different dealer. The depreciation is killer and not worth and additional "special market value" upticks. You can order a car or find a good one used for a bargin. GT350 or GT500 upcharge- maybe if it's perfect. Roush, Saleen or any other essentially modded car= no way.
Wow. I just learned a ton about buy backs- thank you. And no thank you (Lemon) unless you were going to keep the car forever and were a good mechanic.....
is the lid you ordered the one with the clear window? I think that looks cool... I don't think they have that for mine but I have a different airbox that pipes to the grill and hence a different shape..
Mine was done by an experienced shop and zero issues. I would like to put a gauge pack in but I guess I would have to get "inside" the tune to make that work so that is a minor bummer but for me it has been flawless. Other guys who race (1/4 mile etc) seem to prefer other tunes, a whipple etc...
Agreed, but that is a big IF. The 350 near me is 68K. I got the performance and options I wanted for well less than 1/2 that. To many of us that matters. Although I'm with ya on owning a Shelby someday if I can make it work. That 350 vs GT thread is a good one. Not sure after this car a 350...
I bought a 16 GTP with 8500 miles and a Stage 1. I have had warranty work done but this is largely up to your dealer. The Roush warranty is original owner only. Before I even test drove the car I called the original owner, the shop that did the work etc etc. End of the day I was satisfied...
I got a 16 Sync 3 v1. Took me 5 hours but I finally got the damn thing to upgrade to v3. Boom- Android Auto and Waze. Thanks... Now somehow I need gauges on the dash and a after market HUD.....
Mine is usually at 14.4v, It's not a DD but has no issues so far. It can go a week/10 days w/o a start but usually by then the weather clears. It will get out mush more soon.
There are a bunch of us that love the Roush. There is another thread on the 550 side where people are bitching left and right about NA vs Roush vs Whipple etc etc. Just depends what you want out of the car. Big difference between my package for a 16 and yours for a 19 I guess so do your...
I have a Roush on my 16 and would not have it any other way. Support is great and performance is better. I'm sure there are other great products out there especially depending on application, but this Stage 1 is perfect for my car and myself. Hope everyone figures out what's best for you, N/A...
