I have had this happen only really when first going out in the morning just from a stop. I have no problems putting power down during autocross. I have just figured the diff doesnt like high turning, low temperature situations.

Might be optimized, but with the adjustable shocks you can tailor the rebound settings to your driving style. If you like more rotation on turn it, you can dial it in with adjustable shocks. The fixed settings you are stuck with what someone said the car should drive like.

I am running the steeda adjustables. I love them. But you also can't go wrong with the konis. As for the sway bar, I'd go with the rear if you are still running a staggered tire set up. I am running a modified front bar with my square tire setup in f street.

The Bridgestone is a street tire (imo the best) for autox which some classes you can only run street tires, like FS, STP, and CAM-C. Hoosiers can only be ran in ESP and up. Plus the R7 is for racing while the A7 is for autocross.

FWIW I did fit 255 square tire setup on my pp wheels for snows. I dont remember what brand but the 275 snow is bad for price. You really can't go wrong with any brand of legit snow tires. I ran General Tires snows on my acura rsx for winters in Grand Rapids and could handle 6 inches of snow no...

just spitballing here but does anyone think going to 20" setup (20x9, 20x9.5) would be worth doing? Bridgestone makes a 285/35/20 and the overall diameter would lead to a higher 2nd gear speed.

Two things: do you have any pictures of them on a car and two did I read the rim saying these can fit the front on a gt!?

At least with the gt's if you don't hold the brake pedal down while turning off tc/advanced track you will get the warning. It doesn't say to but everyone does it and we don't have that problem. Try that next time.

With four degrees of camber you shouldn't have to worry much about them rolling over. I run them at 34 hot for autocross so probably 36-38 psi for track, ymmv. This is for front. Rears you could probably keep the same

Interesting.. my dad (the tech) is a master ASE tech so I trust him! I don't know if I'd trust a transit bus guy..

Plus if you know an ASE tech that will do it for free (well a case of beers) its a huge plus

I checked out griggs stuff, thats crazy but ingenious. That type of work makes me feel stupid as an engineer.. Price is up there for s197 kit but I wouldn't say unreasonable. Do you have a rough of idea of what it might cost for the s550 kit?

Do they offer trophies for CAM at nationals? I thought you could run CAM but its not recognized for trophies/points. Also would you be doing the designing for the SLA setup or is there a kit to roughly get you started and then you'd fabricate into place? Super interesting build btw, as an...
