  1. New to me car with loads of aftermarket audio - what is all this stuff?

Aw shoot, I would have happily bought your stock components :) Yeah this car originally didn't have the sub either: it appears to be a 200a car so it would have had 9 speakers and no sub. I like the idea of adding in the shaker pro to get the sub signal - I could probably keep one of the subs...
  2. Gloss black with silver lip

2013-14 OEM Boss 302 wheels. I've been meaning to sell the ones I have, lmk if you're interested
  3. New to me car with loads of aftermarket audio - what is all this stuff?

I'm going to take a look to see if the factory amp is still there. If it is, I might try to keep just the front and rear speakers and get rid of everything else. I'd rather have more room in the trunk by removing the sub box, and have a spare tire in the well. I probably could make a few hundred...
  4. New to me car with loads of aftermarket audio - what is all this stuff?

Good to know! Sadly I have no use for this stuff - mostly I use my EB for commuting and all I'm listening to are audiobooks or podcasts.
  5. New to me car with loads of aftermarket audio - what is all this stuff?

So I bought a used 2016 ecoboost premium recently. It's had the stock shaker audio replaced with some aftermarket components. I know next to nothing about car audio, can you guys help me figure out what I have and if it's any good? These are next to the passenger seats Found these subs...
  6. Arizona WTB: HPP Decklid Panel

You’re welcome, the oe emblem is held on by some melted plastic pins, so you might be able to save yourself the price of a new blank decklid panel by drilling out the pins and reusing your factory panel.

Thanks Richard, I'll see if I can see anything wrong with the control arms on my car.
  9. RESOLVED - Steeda subframe brace issue

@tj@steeda Thanks, I didn't know you guys had a lifetime warranty. I assumed that it was a year so I was SOL. I've emailed customer support, I will let you know if I have any issues.
  10. RESOLVED - Steeda subframe brace issue

I said that the paint had completely failed - which it has. Call me crazy, but when I pay close to $300 for something, I expect it to last for more than a couple of seasons in the relatively mild winters that we have here in kansas. Sheesh talk about blaming the victim.
  11. RESOLVED - Steeda subframe brace issue

Yeah but there is rust on the upper part of the braces as well, which won't be hit by flying debris. If you look at the close ups, you'll see that the rust is forming underneath the paint/powder coat, which leads me to believe that the surface wasn't prepped properly, or that the coating is...
  12. RESOLVED - Steeda subframe brace issue

Yeah that's why I took them off. But it's BS that I should have to do that so quickly especially since the BMR stuff is holding up just fine.
  13. Bullitt kit/Brembo brake upgrade install complete!!!

While braking weight is transferred to the front and most of the work (~70%) is done by the front brakes which is why they need to be larger. The rears provide the rest of the braking and help with stability - the traction control computer can brake individual wheels to control where the car is...
  14. RESOLVED - Steeda subframe brace issue

Update: Steeda will be replacing these under their lifetime warranty. I incorrectly assumed that they came with a 1 year warranty and would have to pay to get them blasted and powder coated at my expense. Thanks @tj@steeda for helping getting this resolved so quickly! I was working under the...
  15. Slight improvement for DIY removal of factory clutch spring assist

@SH!FT can I buy your factory spring? I bought a car that has the steeda spring, but it feels too soft.

@mrgooden Sorry to dig up this old thread, but did you figure out what was causing your front end clunk? I'm hearing a clunk at low speed when I hit the brakes hard causing the car to stop. I can replicate the noise going forwards and while backing up.
  17. Indiana wanted-vertical links

@JCN I put the factory vertical links back on, and the noise went away. There are other threads here where people have mentioned that delrin bushes can squeak if the fancy silicon grease dries out, mine were dry as a bone. Found the OE links for $40 shipped on eBay.
  18. Virginia WTB: PP1 Option "Nickel Luster" Split 5-spokes

I have a set with good tires that I might be willing to sell for the right price - I have been meaning to replace them with a set of factory 20s. How much are you offering? I am in Kansas City but I can ship. 3 of them have very minor scrapes, but the fourth will need to be redone - I was...
  19. Indiana wanted-vertical links

Hey, just out of curiosity, what kind of noise are you getting from your car? Kinda creaky and squeaky like an old pickup going down a dirt road? Asking because I have billet vertical links with delrin bushings on my car, and I'm getting creaks and squeaks from somewhere in the back as I go...
  20. Kansas Sold: WTB: Cobb Accessport

Hi, let me know if you have an access port for sale, unpaired preferably. Looking to tune my ecoboost mustang Cheers, Abi
